IIT JAM Application Form 2024 has been released on September 5, 2023. Along with the online application form, candidates need to upload and submit some important IIT JAM 2024 Documents like Photograph, Signature etc as per the guidelines of the authority. The acceptable specification for the photo should be between 20 KB – 200 KB and the file size of the signature should be between 5 KB to 150 KB. How to Upload Photograph in IIT JAM Application Form 2024?
Candidates are advised to upload only a good quality recent photograph. IIT JAM Score Card will be printed with the photograph you submit.
- The photograph must match with your appearance on the day of the examination.
- Do not wear spectacles with dark glasses
- Spectacles with only clear glass are permitted.
- Background of the photograph should be white or any light colour.
- Photograph should cover 50% of your face.
- Forehead, eyes, nose and chin should be clearly visible.

How to Upload Signature in IIT JAM Application Form?
- Signature with all CAPITAL LETTERS is not acceptable.
- Only Initials are not acceptable.
- Signature other than black or blue ink pen is not acceptable.
- Create the rectangle and sign under that box only.
- Scan your signature before uploading.

Important Specifications for IIT JAM 2024 Documents Upload
In the below section, some other important specifications regarding IIT JAM 2024 Documents Upload are mentioned.
- The photograph of the candidate should be taken in a professional studio. Mobile phone uploaded photographs will not be accepted under any circumstances.
- Coloured photograph must be uploaded and it should be taken against a white background. And the background must be illuminated.
- The size of the photograph must not exceed 200 KB and not less than 20 KB.
- Also, the resolution of the scanned signature should be in proper way and in JPEG/JPG format. It must be signed on a white paper with a black or dark blue ink pen
- The scanned signature should be done horizontally
- Signature with all capital letters and signed by other colours than black and blue will be strictly rejected.
- The resolution of the scanned signature must not be more than 150 KB and should be less than 5 KB.
