IIT JAM 2024 opening and closing ranks: IIT Madras released the JAM 2024 second admission or round 2 seat allotment list on June 12, 2024. Candidates can check the category-wise second allotment list in the form of opening and closing ranks for all IITs. Following this process, the last date to pay the seat booking fee is June 16, 2024. IIT JAM counselling 2024 is being conducted to offer 3000 seats across 29 IITs. The withdrawal option of allotted seats after round 2 will remain open from June 15 to July 1, 2024.

By choosing the “Accept and Freeze” option, candidates accept the offer and do not go for higher preferences. In case one selects the “Accept and Upgrade”, it suggests they have accepted the offer, however, wish to go for a higher preference in upcoming rounds. By choosing either “Accept and Freeze” or “Accept and Upgrade” option, a fee of INR 15000 (for General/OBC-NCL/EWS) and INR 7500 (for SC/ST/PwD) must be paid. We can consider 90 or above as a good IIT JAM score.
