Delhi University has released its first-round seat allotment list for DU UG Admissions 2023. Out of the total seats, 87% of seats are filled with Kirori Mal College receiving maximum seats. Read the full details here!

New Delhi: Kirori Mal College has emerged to be the most popular choice among students for Delhi University UG Admission 2023, with nearly 1,61,533 students selecting this North Campus College. However, now Hansraj College has the maximum number of students after the first round seat allocation list is out.
In this first round of seat allotment, more than 87% of the seats for DU Undergraduate Courses 2023 have been filled. As per the data provided, the colleges with the most enrollment of students are Hansraj College, Ramjas College, and Dyal Singh College.
While comparing the number of registrations, Kirori Mal College had the most registrations, followed by Hindu College with 1,58,548 students and Hansraj College with 1,57,162 registrations.
According to the information from Delhi University, a total of 85,853 students were allotted undergraduate courses in DU Colleges. But only 62,008 students have paid the fees and confirmed their admission, and out of those, 53% are females.
As of now, 12,733 students have decided to freeze their admission as it is, while 40,701 are looking to upgrade. Kirori Mal College had the most registrations, followed by Hindu College with 1,58,548 students and Hansraj College with 1,57,162 registrations.

- Kirori Mal College
After the first round of seat allocation, there are still a few vacant seats. All commerce and arts programs at Kirorimal College have one or two seats vacant. Most of the seats at Miranda House are filled in the first round alone, however, a few of the science courses still have seats vacant.
Maximum vacancies are also available off-campus and in a few colleges from the south campus for Sanskrit, and Science courses along with 14 seats at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya colleges are open for Botany; 31 for computer science; 32 for electronics; 27 for mathematics; and 33 for physics. Vacancies are also available in B.Sc Hons. Zoology and Life Science with 17 and 12 seats respectively.
