DME Gujarat Round 9 Counselling Schedule for BAMS and BHMS Courses Released; Check Details Here

New Delhi: DME Gujarat has released the Round 9 Gujarat BAMS and BHMS Admission Schedule. As per the schedule, the candidates had to take part in the 9th Online Round Choice Filling on November 28, 2023, at 06:30 PM.

Following this, the Display of Choices filled by candidates was released on the official website along with the Seat Allotment details on November 29, 2023. Subsequently, the candidates had the option for Online Payment or Payment of Tuition Fees at a designated branch of HDFC Bank from November 29, 2023, to November 30, 2023, until 12:00 Noon. 

The final step involves Reporting & Original Document Submission at the Help Center, from November 29, 2023, at 10:00 AM, to November 30, 2023, until 04:00 PM.

DME Gujarat Round 9 BAMS and BHMS Admission Process for Participation

All candidates listed in the ACPUGMEC Merit List are eligible to participate in the 9th online round. Even those who did not participate in any previous ACPUGMEC round after registration can join the 9th round choice filing. 

To take part in the 9th round, candidates must log in to the DME website using their User ID and Password to provide ONLINE CONSENT. If a candidate confirms admission in the previous round (BAMS/BHMS Courses) and consents to the 9th round but receives a new seat, the earlier admission will be automatically canceled.

If a candidate in the 9th ACPUGMEC round does not upgrade their admission, their previous admission will persist. However, candidates admitted to MBBS or BDS courses until round 04 are not permitted to participate in the 9th round.

Whether a candidate participates or not in the 9th Round, it's possible to upgrade the admission from the previous round within the same college by changing the admission category (e.g., ST/SC/SEBC/EWS to General category or PwD to non-PwD seat). There's no requirement to report to the help center for confirmation of admission.

DME Gujarat Round 9 BAMS and BHMS Admission Guidelines 

The online allotment of seats is based on merit in NEET UG and choice in institutes approved by the respective council. Candidates can decide their choices based on the course, institute/place, government or self-financed institute, and tuition fees. 

It iss advised to fill all available choices, regardless of the institute's status (permitted/recognized), so that if any institute gets permission during the allotment process, admission in that seat can be secured. 

For Online Choice Filling, candidates must follow the steps outlined below: 

Step 1: Visit the DME website. Navigate to the "Undergraduate Admission" section and click on the "Medical, Dental, Ayurvedic & Homeopathy" tab. A new window will open on your computer screen. 

Step 2: Proceed by clicking the "Apply for Admission in Medical, Dental, Homeopathy, and Ayurvedic" button, opening another window to appear. To continue, select "Candidate Registration/Login," prompting yet another window to open. 

Step 3: Enter your USER ID (Sr No. of PIN), Password, 14 Digit PIN, Captcha, and click on the Submit button. Following this, a new window will emerge on your computer screen.

Step 4: Next, click on "CHOICE DETAILS," and three options will be displayed as outlined below –

• View Options: Observe all the choices currently available.
• Complete Choice: Commence your choice-filling process.
• Print Completed Choice: Once you've finalized your choices, you can print out your selection list.
• Select "View Options" to initiate the choice-filling procedure, and a new window will display on your computer screen.

Step 5: Candidates can examine all the available choices and apply filters based on the following options –

• Branch: AYURVEDA / HOMEOPATHY
• Type of Institution: GOV / SFI / GIA
• Seat Category: GOVERNMENT SEAT (GQ) / MANAGEMENT SEAT (MQ) / NRI SEAT (NQ)

Step 6: Initiate the choice-filling process by selecting "Fill Choice," leading to the opening of a new window on your computer screen.

Step 7: Select your choices based on Program, institution, type of institution, and seat category:

• Program: BAMS, BHMS
• Type of Institution: Blue color – Government and Grant-in-aid Institute; Green color – Self-financed institute
• Seat Category: GQ - Government Seat; MQ: Management Seat; NQ: NRI Seat
• Institution: Name of the specific institution

Step 8: Save your filled choices and exit the choice-filling page.

DME Gujarat Round 9 BAMS and BHMS Admission Result and Allotment

Upon completion of choice filling, ACPUGMEC will announce results based on the merit number and the choices submitted by the candidate. Candidates can log in using their User ID and Password to download their allotment letter and Tuition fees challan.

DME Gujarat Round 9 BAMS and BHMS Admission Tuition Fees Payment

Candidates have the option to pay the tuition fees or the difference in fees (in case of payment during the previous round) for the allotted college. This can be done through online payment on the official ACPUGMEC website or by cash or Demand Draft at a designated HDFC bank branch (a list of designated branches is available on the DME admission committee's website).

If the candidate has used the Online Payment Module for fee payment, they must personally visit the help center with the online receipt of fees payment. 

However, if the student has paid tuition fees in cash or by Demand Draft through a specified HDFC bank branch, they are required to obtain two copies of the receipt generated from HDFC bank and ensure the bank stamp is affixed on one copy of the challan.

DME Gujarat Round 9 BAMS and BHMS Admission Guidelines for Candidates Allotted a Seat for the First Time 

Following the payment of tuition fees, candidates must submit their original documents at the designated Help Center as follows –

• Allotment Letter issued by ACPUGMEC
• Proof of Tuition Fees Payment from Bank/Online Transaction
• Tuition Fees Receipt generated through the Admission Module
• Printed Copy of NEET-UG Mark Sheet for the current academic year
• 10th Grade Mark Sheet
• 12th Grade Mark Sheet
• Document confirming place and date of birth, along with Indian citizenship (Compulsory for all candidates: School Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate; Birth Certificate/Passport – if birthplace is not specified in the School Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate)
• Domicile Certificate for students born outside Gujarat, issued by Competent Authorities (Mamlatdar/Executive Magistrate/Commissioner of Police) of Gujarat State, with their signature and stamp.

• For SEBC, ST, and SC Categories: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State exclusively
• For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha ‘4’ in Gujarati/English) issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State, issued after Dt:01/04/2021
• For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State, issued after Dt:01/04/2021
• Copy of Passport (if Citizenship is Dual)
• Fitness Certificate
• Any additional document as per the specified requirements

Candidates are required to bring an appropriately sized envelope (11 x 15 inches). Use a marker to write the details specified in the notice below on the envelope.
