The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore has officially announced that the IPMAT Indore 2026 exam will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026, in the afternoon shift. This announcement provides ample time for candidates to prepare for the exam.

The official notification for IPMAT Indore 2026 was released on October 8, 2025. Registration is expected to start in February 2026, while the last date to apply and the admit card release date are yet to be announced.

About IPMAT Indore 2026

The Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by IIM Indore for admission to its five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM). The IPM is a dual-degree program that awards a Bachelor of Arts (Foundation of Management) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) upon successful completion.

It is conducted once a year and is open to candidates who have passed or are appearing for Class 12, with no minimum percentage required. The exam, conducted in English, comprises Quantitative Ability (MCQ & Short Answer) and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC) sections.

IPMAT Indore 2026 - Eligibility Criteria

Candidates planning to appear for IPMAT Indore 2026 must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria for the IPM program. To be eligible, candidates should have passed or be appearing for their Class 12th (or equivalent) exam in 2024, 2025, or 2026. There is no minimum percentage requirement for any category, including General, EWS, NC-OBC, SC, ST, or PwD candidates. Students from all streams - Science, Commerce, or Humanities- are eligible to apply.

The age limit for candidates requires them to be born on or after August 1, 2006, with a relaxation of 5 years for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. Additionally, applicants must have completed their qualifying exam from a recognised board such as CBSE, ICSE, or any State Board, ensuring they meet the academic standards required for the IPM program.
