DEEET 2026 Exam Date Announced for June 4; Download Admit Card Now

The Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Tripura, has announced the DEEET 2026 examination date as June 4, 2026.  DEEET 2026 is a diploma engineering entrance examination for admission to diploma engineering programs in Tripura. The exam comprises 100 questions totaling 400 marks, divided into three sections: Mathematics (160 marks), Physical Science (160 marks), and English (80 marks). Each question carries 4 marks with no negative marking.

The DEEET 2026 exam will be conducted in offline mode using OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheets. Candidates must use only black or blue ballpoint pens to mark their answers. Mobile phones, calculators, and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.

How to Download DEEET 2026 Admit Card?

• Candidates must visit the official DEEET website at deeet.tripura.gov.in to download their admit cards.
• They need to enter their registration number and password to access the admit card portal.
• The admit card will contain essential information including exam center details, roll number, and candidate name.

Candidates must carry their downloaded admit card and one valid photo ID proof to the examination center. Valid ID proofs include Aadhaar card, PAN card, school ID, or passport. Arriving at the center 30 minutes before the exam start time is mandatory.

Verification of DEEET 2026 Admit Card Details

Before the exam, candidates should carefully verify all details mentioned on their admit card including name spelling, registration number, exam center location, and date. Any discrepancies must be reported to the examination authority immediately through the official website.

With the exam approaching, candidates should focus on solving previous years' question papers and taking mock tests within the stipulated time limit. Practicing time management is crucial as the three-hour exam requires solving 100 questions efficiently. Revising important formulas and concepts from Mathematics and Physical Science sections is recommended.

What’s Next for Students

The DEEET 2026 result will be declared in late June 2026 on the official website. Candidates can download their score cards using their registration credentials. The merit list will be prepared based on exam scores, and counselling will commence in June 2026 for seat allotment in diploma engineering colleges across Tripura.

After result declaration, eligible candidates will participate in the online counselling process starting July 2026. During counselling, candidates must complete registration, fill their choice preferences, and lock their choices. Seat allotment will be done based on merit rank and choice preferences, followed by document verification and final admission.
