New Delhi: The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2024 is a speed-based test for admission into various MBA colleges. It is scheduled for May 15, 2024. The test is three hours long and contains 100 questions. For each correct answer, four marks will be awarded and for a wrong answer, one mark will be deducted.

You must revise your CMAT syllabus and prepare for the exam to give your best. Last-minute preparation is required to get the required results. We have listed a few of the exam-day tips below. These tips will help you to prepare for tomorrow. 

CMAT 2024 Exam Day Tips

The CMAT 2024 exam is easy to moderately difficult. Students must follow the following strategies on the exam day to score well in the exam:

• Choose Questions Carefully: As CMAT 2024 is a speed-based test, you must strategically attempt the questions. Solve the questions as per their difficulty level. All the easy questions must be attempted first to save time for more difficult questions. 

• Avoid Guesswork: With negative markings in CMAT, do not answer simply by guessing. Only attempt those questions which you are sure about.

• Time Management: Unlike other exams, CMAT doesn't impose sectional time limits. Allocate specific time limit for each section to ensure that you complete each section on or before time. 

• Attempt a Good Number of Questions in All Sections: Achieving a high CMAT score and percentile requires performing well across all sections. So, it is not necessary to attempt all questions. Many MBA colleges consider sectional percentiles for candidate selection.

• Carefully fill the bubbles: CMAT 2024 is an MCQ-based exam, so the candidates must fill the bubbles properly. 

• Read exam instructions carefully: Candidates must read al the exam-related instructions on the front page.

• Attempt GK Section at Last: The General Knowledge (GK) section of CMAT 2024 includes static GK, current affairs, and memory-based questions. To ensure a higher percentile, you must solve GK questions at last. You must try to complete the GK section within 10-15 minutes.

• Keep Calm and Stay Confident: Students must maintain confidence and not panic during the exam. Confidence can help you tackle questions effectively and make informed decisions throughout the exam.

CMAT 2024 Last-Minute Preparations

The night before the exam is the most crucial, so do not be tensed. Keep your head cool and be confident on your preparation. Remember, “All is Well”!

• Do not start with any new topic the night before the exam. Revise what you have already covered. Lay more stress on mock tests and revision tests as it will prepare your mind for the exam paper the next day.
• Keep your admit card printout, Valid ID Proof and all the stationary required ready with yourself the night before. 
• Do not overstress yourself with the revision. Take a walk or take some time off your studies. 
• Double check your exam centre and chart your journey to it. Make sure to reach atleast 1 hr before the CMAT 2024 Exam timing.
