New Delhi: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has released the revised syllabus for certain subjects in Class 11 and Class 12. The updated syllabus for ISC Class 12 will be effective from 2025, while the revised syllabus for Class 11 will be effective from the current academic year.

From 2025 onwards, several vocational subjects will be introduced at the ICSE level under Group 3. Informing about the changes, CISCE stated, "The aim behind the revised syllabus is to enhance educational transactions. This syllabus has an optional recommendation to include ‘Contemporary Studies’ as a component of Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW)."
Newly Introduced Vocational Subjects by CISCE
Following the revised syllabus, the newly introduced vocational subjects under group 3 include Assistant Beauty Therapist (59), Assistant Hair Stylist (61), Dietetic Aide (71), Cashier (74), Early Years Physical Activity Facilitator (75), and Auto Service Technician (96). Additionally, robotics and artificial intelligence will be included as vocational courses.

Step 4: Click on the subject you want to download the revised syllabus.
Step 5: The revised syllabus will appear on the screen. Download it.
