The Central University of Kashmir has issued a list of candidates who have been provisionally accepted into its PhD program in the Department of English for the academic year 2025. Candidates selected must pay the appropriate fee and complete all admission formalities, including document and eligibility verification, by January 6, 2025.

CU Kashmir PhD Program (English Department) Important Instructions

Selected candidates must follow the Central University of Kashmir PhD program guidelines mentioned below.

  • All admissions are tentative and subject to final verification of papers and eligibility by the relevant department/Nodal Officer.
  • Students must deposit the required fee by logging into their SAMARTH account that they have registered by or before the above-mentioned date.
  • Provisionally selected candidates must bring original documents and self-attested photocopies at the time of joining.
  • OBC/ST/EWS/SC candidates (if any) should present their original certificates in the stipulated GOI format.

CU Kashmir PhD Program (English Department) Documents required

Candidates are required to submit the original certificates and self-attested copies of the certificates mentioned below:

  • The competent authority has provided all qualifying degree/examination marks sheets and valid category certificates.
  • Provisional and Character Certificates, including original and self-attested photocopies.
  • Migration Certificate (original and self-attested photocopies).
  • Domicile Certificate (original and self-certified photocopy).
  • Valid UGC-JRF qualification certificate.

Selected candidates must fill out the anti-ragging form, which is available at @ugc.ac.in and @antiragging.in, and enter their application code at the bottom of the admission form. Candidates who do not complete the admission processes by January 6, 2025, would lose their right to admission.
