CENTAC NEET UG 2026 Round 2 Seat Matrix Out; Check Last Date to Register

The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) has released the Round 2 seat matrix for NEET UG 2026 counselling. The notice is available on the official portal at centacpuducherry.in. A total of 882 seats are vacant after Round 1 allotment across MBBS, BDS, and BAMS courses in Puducherry.

CENTAC coordinates centralised admissions in the Union Territory of Puducherry. It conducts NEET UG counselling under the Government, Management, and NRI quotas.

CENTAC Round 2 Vacancy Overview

The vacancy list covers government and self-financing medical, dental, and ayurveda colleges. The seats are available under three main quotas for registered candidates. Institutes named in the notice include IGMC&RI and PIMS, among others. The complete college-wise break-up is available in the official PDF on the portal.

Course preference filling closes at 5 PM on September 10, 2026. All candidates registered with CENTAC are eligible for Round 2. This includes candidates allotted seats in Round 1, whether they joined or not.

Round 2 covers first-year admission to three undergraduate medical streams:

• MBBS seats in government and private medical colleges.
• BDS seats in dental colleges affiliated with CENTAC.
• BAMS seats in the ayurveda college of the Union Territory.

CENTAC Round 2 Registration Fee

The registration fee varies according to the quota and category. Most candidates admitted in Round 1 do not need to pay again. However, EBC, SC, ST, and GSS candidates must pay the fee afresh.

Who Is Eligible for CENTAC Round 2?

All candidates registered with CENTAC for the 2026 counselling cycle can participate. This includes candidates who:

• Did not receive an allotment in Round 1.
• Received a Round 1 allotment and joined the allotted college.
• Received a Round 1 allotment but did not join the college.

Fresh registrations from candidates who missed the earlier deadline are not accepted.

• A new Round 2 allotment will automatically cancel the Round 1 allotted course.
