Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?
As a college dean or a media person would like to suggest that you have to be more focused towards your career and set a goal, you have to gain practical knowledge rather than theory, theory is must as always because without reading theory you can’t able to explain but in this field you have to be practical knowledge more. And avoid the negative people because sometimes they will misguide you and put negative thoughts in your mind too. Don’t get down-feel and maintain distance with negative energies.
What would you like the people to know about your university they may not know?
We are more focused on work, not the expansion of students and buildings. Our biggest USP is that we give personal attention to our students, we guide students individually, and our students are very disciplined and mannered.
We are a college that doesn’t want a large number of students. We have limited students and focus on every student individually.
Being the dean of college, how do you strategize about the key programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your college?
We counsel our students from time to time as they require or when we feel that they are not focusing on a career they are confused or else, we communicate with them and also our faculty members communicate with students so that we don't have any miscommunication between our students, faculty members and management.

What do you think should be the college’s top priority over the next 10 years?
Our top priority over the next 10 years is our placement record, as of now our College placement is going 80-85% every year but it will be 100% in upcoming years with good packages as per industry standard. We give students placement on very handsome packages not like other colleges that give placement in very low packages. Our packages are high for fresher’s also. Our alumni network is also very strong. College alumni are working nationally and internationally too with very good packages, also they help their juniors in jobs and give opportunities to junior fresher’s in the media industry that they have to grow in this field.
How does the curriculum of IAAN college ensure the best practice of industry?
We have our self prepared curriculum for students because it is a practical based field and we created practical and placement oriented divisions apart from university. In university syllabus students are learning theory and in IAAN division students are learning practical skills. Eg:- IAAN TV (digital platform), IAAN express (RNI registered newspaper), IAAN Radio (radio station), IAAN Production (Production house).
With a university degree we provide a separate diploma as well from the college. As per requirement of the media industry, we teach 80% practical classes under our diploma program which helps in placements.
