What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style? 

My leadership philosophy centres on delegation aligned with individual strengths, trust, respect, and fostering a positive environment. A leader should embody a continual learning mindset, practising participative and democratic leadership. Encouragement remains a focal point in my leadership style.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

I'd advise students and parents not to succumb to the rat race. Choose careers wisely based on individual interests to prevent future regrets. Prioritise enhancing overall personality, as the future demands resilience. Acquire skills to confront challenges and cultivate emotional balance. Education should encompass values, a holistic approach, and soft skills. Therefore, I urge the youth to be mentally and physically robust.

How do you tend to establish a healthy relation and environment in your College?

Our college fosters a harmonious atmosphere with robust relationships. I appreciate the distinctive work styles of each faculty member and assign tasks based on their competencies and interests. Our institution hosts diverse events such as Engineers Day, Women’s Day, Teachers Day, soft skills seminars, exhibitions, and competitions, integrating elements of entertainment. To enhance engagement, meetings and gatherings are structured to be interactive. This approach ensures a collaborative environment where faculty members feel valued, contributing to the overall positivity and camaraderie on campus.

What would you like people to know about your Institute they may not know? 

We have numerous awards and milestones achieved by our institution. We received the All India Best Polytechnic College Students Chapter Award in 2019 and were previously was awarded the Sustainable Institute Industry Partnership (SIIP)- 2017. We have also managed to secure the Institution of Engineers (India)-2015-16- Best Polytechnic College Award and the All India Council for Technical Education sanctioned Grant-in-Aid under the Modernization and Removal of Obsolescence Polytechnic (MODROB-POL) scheme.

Our college embraces a diverse student body hailing from varied races, economic backgrounds, and cultures, fostering a cosmopolitan atmosphere. Ensuring a welcoming environment, we emphasise camaraderie among students, encouraging mutual assistance. Seniors often generously share resources like books and stationery with economically disadvantaged peers. Additionally, we've established sponsorship programs to cover fees for financially challenged students and offer numerous scholarship opportunities. In our daily sessions, we instill moral values and a holistic approach, cultivating a sense of humanity among our students, thereby enhancing inclusivity and creating a college culture that embraces diversity.
