The institution provides a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, which is a 3-year full-time program designed for students who have completed their 10th standard. This diploma course is approved by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

No, Government Polytechnic College does not offer the Part-time Diploma course. It offers the on-campus and regular courses.
