You have held key positions at education institutes throughout your professional career. What are the key factors that keep you connected to the education sector?

This is a very good question since I joined academics I have been in touch with the young generation and that is the motivation factor for me. I’m always with the young people shaping their future and that’s the only motivation for me. Witnessing the enthusiasm and potential within these young minds fuels my passion for guiding them toward a brighter future.

What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

People say there are different styles of leaders but I say there are only two types of leaders. One is because of their power, and the second is because of their positional power. The position I mean if they are a chairman, if they’re a director, they hold some responsibility and they behave like leaders but there is another aspect to it for which I work and this is my personal experience and personal position.

How does the curriculum of your institute ensure the best practice of industry?

This being a management course, it is closely related to the industry rather it is for the industry people. So, every year we modify, and change our curriculum with the help of industrialists. Many industrialists are on our academic panel and they decide what is required for the corporate world. We introduce those contents, we introduce those subjects and every year we have something which is changed in the curriculum of every semester with the help of industrialists.

What do you think should be the university’s top priority over the next 10 years?

They should shape the future of the country through the young generation so that the young generation can participate in politics in the future growth of the country because if that is there in the education system then our main goal is achieved through the young generation's quality. They should change their curriculum so that they help the country to grow further.

When you first came to your institute what was your vision for the university? Has it evolved and how far along in implementing that vision are you?

Since joining my present institute I have the full strength, I have the vision to make my college the best college available in India. I know that I am in the body of the best college in India. I wanted my college should also be at par IIM Ahmedabad and in no time could we surpass the qualities at the parameters.

What would you like people to know about the university they may not know?

People are not aware of the fact that in our college in our institute, the first and foremost strength is the faculty. Most of the faculty members are highly qualified with corporate experience which is our strength. The second point is the placements are excellent every year 100% of placements are there and then our post-curriculum which is the latest and concerning the industry now, what is required by the industry is provided to the students so that the industry should get the fullest help from our students and students should also grow and with the help of students and university the country should also grow.

How is your relationship with the students of your college?

My students are my mentees and I am like a mentor, counselor, and a father to them. As I am the director of this Institute no matter if the problem is professional or personal, my doors are always open and students come to me. I take great pride in nurturing the students not just academically but also as individuals. The trust they place in me, knowing my doors are always open for any concern, be it professional or personal, is a testament to the strong bond we share as an academic family.
