What is the latest program that you are offering in your institute/department that will help students outperform and stand apart from the crowd?

The college offers a wide variety of courses and unique research opportunities related to one's academic and co-curricular interests for achieving their goals. We have the Arts department along with professional and non-professional degree courses, we have value-added courses as well.

What are the factors that make this program the best for the students to opt for?

College runs language courses for international students which results in global exposure to our students and develops a sense of commonness and belonging. Every year we organize an Annual fest. We have Xenium International 6.0 - The Annual Fest scheduled on 11th February - 13th February 2024 this year.

What are the best practices in the course you’re offering?

Our college works with individual students. Every session we have some best practices. One of the best practices that our college implemented was the Village Adoption and Higher Education Awareness Program.

What are some valuable insights from the program that you are offering at your institute/department?

In our college, we provide students with every opportunity to sharpen their skills and talents. We aim at the holistic development of students and for that purpose, we have different clubs of talents. Sports club, Dramatic Club, Dance Club, Art and Craft club, Music club, and Anchors club are talent clubs for students.

How does the program ensure that students are being prepared for the future?

As I told you about talent clubs. These clubs include various activities such as dance, art, sports, music, and dramatics and we have scheduled examinations for students.

How did you train yourself/faculty to deliver this program to the students?

The institute/Department provides a learning environment to the Faculty members through the Faculty Development Programme.

How do you tend to build an industry connection with this program?

Our college provides a platform for students to publish their research papers and also conducts conferences. We also provide international exposure to students. XeniuM International 4.0 was the international fest to provide students with a stage where they can sharpen their skills and talents at the international level.

What were the challenges that you faced while inculcating this program into your curriculum?

Challenges that we have faced are the diverse educational backgrounds of students, and limited resources at their place. Sometimes, providing students with real-world exposure through internships, and industry projects. 

What are the types of projects that the students are working on through this program?

The arts department has a range of career prospects in various fields. Recently we have had our Annual fest, our students are working wholeheartedly for the Fest Day.

What are the benefits and career options after pursuing this course?

The skills and knowledge acquired during any course in the Arts department have a wide range of career options. Students can opt for examinations in civil services, higher education, the teaching field, dramatics, and the music industry and there are immense career opportunities. Our college also gives a stage for students to interact with students from different countries.
