As Dean my direct roles for the students include supervising and being responsible for their academic achievements, admin responsible for supporting student needs and services, and also creating a supportive student environment that is considerate of the diversity of learners. This encompasses guarding over curriculum, ensuring resource acquisition and distribution, attendance to students’ issues and encouraging professional and personal development.
How do you strategize about the key programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your school being the Dean of SIET?
I would start by analyzing our present programmes, position in the market and the needs of our stakeholders. Thereafter, I would establish a strategic plan, which will incorporate different improvement areas. The brand image must gain more market space, our marketing strategies based on digital marketing ought to be more emphasized, and our organization’s special features must be promoted effectively. The practice of faculty development is aided by organised training schedules, sessions and interactions with industries. To support this claim, it is important to note that when the faculty is encouraged to conduct research, attend conferences or work hand in hand with other professionals in the industry; it is always important because it assists them in getting the latest trends and standards.
