What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

My leadership philosophy centres on collaboration, & empowering others. I believe in leading by example and nurturing a culture of trust and innovation. My style is to be more adaptive, balancing decisiveness along with empathy, with encouraging team members to contribute their strengths while aligning with the shared vision of the institution.

How does the curriculum of the Pandit L.R. College of Technology ensure the best practice of industry?

At Pandit L.R College of Technology, we always prioritize hands-on experience through industry visits, which ensures our students become valuable assets in their fields. We also focus on securing internships & job placements before course completion, providing robust placement support to bridge the gap between education & industry.

Any insights into how your institute could be more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?

We ensure inclusivity by offering the scholarships to students from economically weaker sections, as well as those from SC & BC categories. Additionally, students who excel academically are also eligible for the scholarships, allowing us to support diverse backgrounds & help them to thrive in their educational journey.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the Institution and the students are?

As the Training and Placement Officer at the institution and heading the admission process, I am responsible for overseeing the entire placement process, ensuring students secure valuable industry opportunities. Additionally, I head the admissions process, guiding prospective students through their journey into the institution. I also manage the complete scholarship program, ensuring deserving students receive financial support to pursue their education.

What do you think should be the Institution’s top priority over the next 10 years?

If I talk about the long-term plans, in our long-term plans, we aim to expand our academic offerings by introducing new & innovative courses. This year, we’ve launched M.Tech in Civil & Mechanical Engineering, along with IT in B.Tech. Looking ahead, we also plan to introduce AI courses to keep pace with technological advancements. Additionally, we’re also working on offering a BBA Law program to further diversify our curriculum & meet evolving industry demands.

What do you see as your college’s greatest strengths?

According to me, our biggest strength lies in the quality of education that we offer, driven by our exceptional faculty & a strong emphasis on practical learning. This includes industry visits and internships that prepare students for real-world challenges. Additionally, our dedicated placement support ensures students are well-equipped to transition seamlessly into their careers.
