Dr. C. Udaya Kiran is the Principal of Samskruti College of Engineering and Technology. He is a part of the college leadership team and promotes the standards of teaching, research and quality of the institution. With his 19 years of teaching and administrative experience, he manages, monitors and controls to improve the quality of various educational activities at the institution. He is also a Professor of Mechanical Engineering.

Dr. Kiran obtained his B.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering from GPREC, SK University. He is a second-rank holder in M.Tech. in Production Engineering from VT University and was awarded a PhD degree (Mechanical) in composite materials from SRTM University. Presently, he is guiding a group of research scholars who are carrying out research in the areas of Polymer composites, Biocomposites and Nanocomposites. He is a recognised research supervisor for JNTUH, JNTUA and KLU.
