Yet again, at the national science competition, ANVESHAN 2025, Student research convention, Amity University Nodia’s students have won third prize for an innovation: Hologram projection system.

Visual Display Technology Redefined

The hologram technique focused on developing a hyper-generation 3D volumetric projection system that creates captivating holographic visuals without any physical screen. The prototype is being developed to use precise water vapour management to generate a highly controlled, ultrafine mist layer in mid-air, which acts as a dynamic projection medium. By synchronising this vapour field with laser and high-intensity light sources, the system can render floating 3D images and animations that can be viewed from multiple angles. This technology completely overcomes the limitations of 2D displays, which have been used traditionally. It also gives way to opportunities for advanced applications in education, design visualisation, medical simulations, advertising, and human–computer interaction. 

Industry Adaptability

This project will change the game for the holographic industry:

  • Education: It will ease the 3D visualisations of complex concepts in science and engineering departments.
