How does your college ensure the students are being prepared for the future?
Our Career Resource Centers (CRCs) play a vital role in providing guidance and coaching to students for different career options such as placements, entrepreneurship, and higher studies. We understand the importance of equipping our students with the necessary skills and knowledge, and thus we conduct regular seminars and workshops to keep them updated about industry requirements. By focusing on both theoretical and practical learning, we aim to bridge the gap between academia and the professional world. Our goal is to prepare our students not only for immediate job opportunities but also for long-term success in their chosen fields.
What approaches do you bring in apart from curriculum to train the students?
Apart from academic subjects, we focus on enhancing their aptitude, logical reasoning, and quantitative abilities, which are essential for their overall development. Additionally, we organize various activities to instill social responsibility and promote community engagement. Our students actively participate in road safety campaigns, visit nearby villages, and support the local community in their day-to-day activities. These initiatives help them develop a broader perspective, empathy, and a sense of social awareness, making them well-rounded individuals prepared to contribute positively to society.
How do you bring in a practical and industry oriented approach towards subjects?
To bring in a practical and industry-oriented approach towards subjects, we emphasize the importance of real-world exposure and practical learning. We organize professional visits to industries, where students can witness firsthand how concepts are applied in real-life scenarios. Additionally, we offer certification courses that are designed in collaboration with industry experts to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge required in the current job market. These initiatives not only enhance students' understanding of the subject matter but also bridge the gap between academia and industry, preparing them for successful careers in their respective fields.
What valuable advice would you like to share with the students for a prosperous career ahead?
It is crucial for students to stay updated with the latest technological developments and industry trends. Embrace a lifelong learning mindset and actively seek out learning opportunities both within and outside the classroom. Make the best use of internships, workshops, seminars, and online resources to expand your knowledge and skills. Develop a strong network and seek guidance from industry professionals and mentors. Remember that a successful career is built on continuous learning and adaptability to change.
What are some plans that you are currently designing for students?
We are currently designing plans to establish more student communities within our institution. These student communities will provide a platform for students to connect, collaborate, and engage in various extracurricular activities related to their interests and career goals. These communities will not only foster a sense of belonging and camaraderie among students but also provide them with opportunities to develop leadership skills, explore their passions, and enhance their overall personal and professional growth. We believe that these student communities will contribute significantly to creating a vibrant and inclusive college environment for our students.
