Being a Faculty of the Institute, what are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?
Being the faculty of this department, my role and responsibilities are to provide the best possible education to the students, as they are our future. Additionally, we also prepare them for the placements to help them reach a level where they want to see themselves. We also help them overcome the difficulties that they are facing so that they can tackle any challenges in their lives.
How do you tend to establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty?
As a faculty, we build relationships with the students by being friendly with them. Due to this reason, they are able to explain the problems and doubts that they are facing in their subject or in their personal lives. For the faculty, we maintain cordial and supportive relationships with them. This facilitates having discussions with each other about our lives, courses or any doubts they are facing, easy. We collaboratively come up with solutions that further deepen our relationship.
How are you trying to bring a practical approach toward your subject & make it industry-oriented?
We are trying to bring a practical approach by organising experiences and events such as industrial visits, practical experimentation, and guest lectures. Here they learn additional things apart from their syllabus. They also get to see their theoretical lectures in practice, through which they may be able to understand things more deeply. Students will also be able to articulate things in a better manner, which will help them in the future to be the perfect candidate for any job position.

How do you help your student to cope up with the competition being so high in the outside world?
We prepare our students to fight the competition by giving them updates on the recent changes or updates in the sector. Additionally, we are guiding them to do various courses that will enhance their skills, which would be perfect to showcase in their resume. Apart from all these, we conduct various projects and activities through which they may be able to understand things about their subject easily.
Do you have any extracurricular activities/ programs to enhance the skills of the students or expose them to real world challenges?
We do provide extracurricular activities to our students, such as seminars, sporting events, cultural events, industrial expert lectures, and quiz competitions. Recently, we had our Pharmacy Fest which was organised by the students, starting from the decoration to the end presentation. Our students have also represented our institute this semester in various sporting events, helping at Mittal Institute of Pharmacy and bagging the gold medal for it. We also explain to our students how to attempt online and inter-college quiz competitions. All these support the students from the very beginning until the very end.
Any valuable advice would you like to give to your students to have a prosperous career ahead?
I want my students to clear their basics first. Additionally, I want to stress the importance of attending each and every class. This will ensure they don’t miss out on important information and gain as much knowledge as possible to become successful candidates.
