What is the latest program that you are offering at Teegala Krishna Reddy Engineering College that will help students outperform and stand apart from the crowd?
Teegala Krishna Reddy Engineering College (TKREC) was established in the year 2005 by the TKR Educational Society with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi. As per government rules for affiliation, the college has been Affiliated with JNTU, Hyderabad Accredited by the NBA and NAAC with an ‘A’ grade, the college has also been conferred autonomous status for 10 years. The Department of Humanities and Sciences is a multi-disciplinary department that serves the students of all branches of the B.Tech curriculum. The Department provides in-depth knowledge in basic sciences like Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and English forms the backbone of all Engineering disciplines, and also enhances the application-oriented skills, communication, and soft skills of the students. The college has been a preferred institute by students for engineering education and management in the region since its inception.
What are the factors that make this program the best for the students to opt for?
This specialization in an engineering degree will enhance career opportunities in the software industry as AI has become an integral part of software development. Learning artificial intelligence is right for students if they plan on becoming an AI Developer, Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or Research Engineer or if they want their company to become better at using AI. Moreover, AI has the potential to one day synthesize and predict personalized treatment modalities in near real-time—no clinical trials are required. Next-generation consumer experiences like the metaverse and cryptocurrencies have garnered much buzz. These experiences and others like them will be critically enabled by AI. The metaverse is inherently an AI problem because humans lack the sort of perception needed to overlay digital objects on physical contexts or to understand the range of human actions and their corresponding effects in a metaverse setting.
What will you say are the “best practices” in the course you’re offering?
The Hospitality & Sciences department organizes several academic programs such as the Induction Program. It is mandatory for all fresh students admitted to any UG Programme offered by the college. To help the students feel comfortable in the new environment and adjust to the customs and practices of the department. To enable the students to become familiar with the amenities and access the intellectual and physical resources of the department and institutions The department organizes several academic programs such as FDPs, workshops, and guest lectures with the aid of resource persons from Universities and Industry.

How does the program ensure that students are being prepared for the future?
We offer students special training i.e. Job Skills Inculcation Program for skill development. Job Skills Inculcation Program runs concurrently with the academic calendar of II and III years of B.Tech. Program and students will have opportunities for hands-on experience along with subject knowledge. Students begin to feel more comfortable with their abilities, which can lead to better performance in advanced areas of their related subjects. They also experience increased motivation and a desire to learn. In addition, our college offers CRT programs for III and Final-year students for this our college placement cell plays a crucial role in connecting with industry professionals and encourages students to attend training programs and expand their knowledge in the related areas.
What was the most challenging task that you faced in your career so far, and what did you learn from it?
In the initial stage of my career, I lack communication skills and I face difficulty in facing interviews. According to education rules and regulations M.Sc. (Electronics and IT) is not equivalent to a B.Tech for this reason some of the top Core industries like BHEL, BEL, and HBL rejected my CV and because of that I won’t be able to enter into the technical field.
What do you find the most difficult about being Head of Department?
The HOD is responsible for departmental administration and planning, faculty development, internal and external communication, personnel management, and student support.
HOD can talk about the strategies you use to ensure that your department is meeting its goals, such as setting clear expectations for each team member, identifying areas of improvement, providing feedback on performance, and rewarding high-performing employees. The difficulty of motivating colleagues and supporting students amid a crisis. The barriers to leading effectively in a fully or partially remote environment. Our college management and Department faculty members are very cooperative and supportive.
Any insights or advice that you would like to give to the current youth or the aspiring Students?
I would like to suggest students not forget their parents and take care of them. They should take care of their health. Students must not care about what others think about them. Also, don’t compare yourself to others, everyone has a unique quality.
