What is your philosophy of leadership?
I believe in a leadership approach that is centered around continuous development, implementation, and improvement. To accomplish organisational goals, I highlight the significance of keeping a positive outlook and encouraging harmony and teamwork among all stakeholders. I also make it a point to support and motivate the team.
How do you tend to establish a healthy relationship and environment in your institute?
At EASA College, we place a high value on fostering strong interpersonal ties between students and teachers. We host frequent doubt-clearing sessions and interactive sessions with students. The college has established a supportive environment for extracurricular activities and projects. It combines the management's and faculty's friendly demeanour and helps create a nurturing learning environment for the students.
How do you make the subjects industry-oriented?
I ensure that the curriculum is industry-relevant by organizing industrial visits, inviting industry experts for lectures, and facilitating internships. These efforts help bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical field experience. We follow this quote by Hutchings (1990), “What’s at stake is the capacity to perform, to put what one knows into practice." Therefore we encourage our students to use every opportunity they get to practice the practical aspects of their courses.

How do you update and strategize the curriculum?
Our college is affiliated with Anna University in Chennai and the course curricula are framed by the university. We concentrate on revising the syllabus through strategic planning to maintain the curriculum's relevance. This entails making sure that students are adequately prepared for their future employment and adding workshops and seminars on subjects pertinent to the sector.
How does your college prepare students for placements?
The EASA College provides comprehensive placement assistance, starting with English language training in the first year. This progresses to aptitude, technical, and interpersonal skill development. The college emphasises the overall personality development and communication skills of its students, as they are critical for successful placement.
Do you have any extracurricular activities to enhance the skills of the students?
At EASA, we have various clubs like the Go Green club, B2D (Born To Dance) club, the Fine Arts club, Entrepreneur club, and the Women Development club. Students can join at least one or more clubs, and various activities are planned for these clubs every year. Apart from that, we conduct cultural events like Onam and Pongal which are celebrated and organised by our students. We also have sports and art competitions conducted and the annual day where they exhibit their talents is the annual day.
What advice would you give to the students for them to have a prosperous career ahead?
Students should focus on the changing demands of the industries and adjust themselves according to them. They should stay enthusiastic about their subject of study and adjust to the shifting needs of the business. Citing Paulo Coelho's theory that individuals who are dedicated to their objectives receive help from the cosmos, she exhorts them to pursue their goals with zeal.
