(Tech) in Computer Science from JNTU College of Engineering, Kakinada in 1994, a Master's Degree in Computer Science M.Tech (CSE) from IETE, OU Campus, Hyderabad in 2000, and a Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) from Faculty of Engineering, Department of CSE, Osmania University (OU), Hyderabad in 2011. He has more than 29 years of professional experience. He is a life member of professional bodies like MIETE, MCSI, MIE, and MISTE. Moreover, he has published over 50 research papers, obtained more than 10 patents, and authored 3 book chapters and 2 textbooks.

I am Dr. M.V. Vijaya Saradhi, currently serving as the Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at ACE Engineering College, Ghatkesar, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Osmania University in 2011. My research interests span Software Engineering, Distributed Systems, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning, the Internet of Things (IoT), Data Mining, and Design Patterns. I am a life member of professional bodies like MIETE, MCSI, MIE, and MISTE. Additionally, I have published over 50 research papers, obtained more than 10 patents, and authored 3 book chapters and 2 textbooks.


What motivated you to pursue a career in academia and take on the role of the Head of the CSE Department at ACE Engineering College?

I was motivated to become the Head of the CSE Department by the supportive faculty and nurturing learning environment at ACE Engineering College. My goals include preparing students for successful careers in Computer Science and Engineering, providing a broad-based curriculum, inculcating professional and ethical values, and fostering research aptitude among students.


What is your vision for the CSE Department at ACE Engineering College, and how do you plan to achieve it?

My vision is for the department to be an epicenter of excellence in education, offering thrust courses, research, and services to students. To achieve this, we focus on imparting quality technical education, preparing students for competitive examinations, developing professional and research aptitude, and promoting lifelong learning and entrepreneurial skills.


How do you ensure that the department's curriculum remains current and aligned with the latest advancements in the field of CSE?

To keep the curriculum current, we prioritize career advancement and encourage participation in professional organizations, mentorship programs, and attendance at industry conferences and tech events. We also regularly review and update the curriculum, collaborate with industries, and emphasize practical, hands-on learning.
