The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has released the notification for the AP LAWCET and AP PGLCET 2026. Starting today, February 12, 2026, eligible candidates can apply online for admission into various law programs offered by universities and affiliated colleges across Andhra Pradesh.
The entrance examinations are scheduled to be held on May 4, 2026. To complete the registration process, candidates are required to submit their application fees through the official online portal. For the AP LAWCET (3-year and 5-year LLB) courses, a registration fee of ₹900 is mandated for candidates in the General (OC) category, while those in the BC category and SC/ST category must pay ₹850 and ₹800, respectively.

In the case of the AP PGLCET (LLM) program, the fee is set at ₹1000 for General (OC) applicants, ₹950 for the BC category, and ₹900 for SC/ST candidates. All payments are processed online via credit card, debit card, or net banking facilities provided on the website.

AP LAWCET/PGLCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
- 3-Year LLB: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) with at least 45% marks (42% for BC and 40% for SC/ST).
- 5-Year LLB: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or Intermediate with at least 45% marks (42% for BC and 40% for SC/ST).
- LLM (PGLCET): Candidates must hold an LLB/BL degree (3 or 5 years) with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
- Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for appearing in these exams.
AP LAWCET/PGLCET 2026 Selection Process
- Entrance Exam: Candidates must appear for the Computer-Based Test (CBT).
- Qualifying Marks: General candidates must score at least 35% (42 out of 120 marks). There are no minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates.
- Counselling: Shortlisted candidates will be called for web-based counselling for seat allotment based on their rank.

- Visit the official website cets.apsche.ap.gov.in and click on "Eligibility Criteria & Fee Payment."
- Verify your payment using your hall ticket number and mobile number.
- Enter personal, academic, and category details.
- Upload your scanned photo and signature.
- Preview the form, submit it, and download the confirmation page for future reference.
