KJSCE B.Tech Admission 2026 Round 2 applications are open from May 6 to June 5, 2026, with results declared on June 10. Candidates can apply based on SAT 2025/2026, JEE Main 2026, MHT-CET 2026, CUET 2026, or PERA-CET 2026 scores.

KJSCE B.Tech Round 2 Admission 2026

KJSCE B.Tech Admission 2026 Round 2 applications are now live at application.somaiya.edu. Candidates must submit their online pre-admission forms with a non-refundable application fee of ₹2,000 before the June 5, 2026 deadline. Results will be declared on June 10, 2026.

K J Somaiya School of Engineering (KJSCE) offers 10 B.Tech specializations with 20 seats each, except Robotics & Artificial Intelligence with 120 seats. Admission is merit-based, considering entrance exam scores, program preferences, and seat availability. Candidates can apply for multiple rounds using the same pre-application login credentials.

Candidates must have passed HSC or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects plus Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects with minimum 45% marks combined. Applicants must have appeared for at least one qualifying entrance exam (SAT 2025/2026, JEE-Main 2026, MHT-CET 2026, CUET (UG), or PERA-CET 2026) with a non-zero score. Residents of Maharashtra, including Gujarati Linguistic Minority candidates, and all Indian citizens are eligible.

How to Apply for KJSCE B.Tech Admission 2026?

  • Visit application.somaiya.edu and register with your email and password to access the pre-admission form.
  • Fill in personal details, academic qualifications, entrance exam scores, and program preferences.
  • Pay the ₹2,000 non-refundable application fee online to complete submission.
  • Use the same login credentials to apply for multiple rounds.

Resident Indian candidates must submit the allotment letter, entrance exam scorecard, HSC and SSC mark lists (self-attested), leaving certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar card, two passport-size photographs, Maharashtra domicile certificate, and medical fitness certificate. Gap certificates and equivalence certificates are required if applicable. Gujarati Linguistic Minority candidates need additional community certificates and self-declaration forms.

Candidates can apply for multiple rounds within the same pre-application using identical login credentials. A provisional seat becomes final only after HSC results are declared and the candidate meets eligibility criteria.

What’s Next for Students

Candidates holding seats in multiple rounds must forgo one seat and confirm the other; dual seat holdings are not permitted. Processing fees are waived for seat upgrades within the same or subsequent rounds.

After receiving a provisional seat offer, candidates must pay the full or balance fees within the specified deadline to confirm admission. Final confirmation must be completed within eight working days of HSC result declaration. Candidates who secure seats in earlier rounds remain eligible for subsequent rounds if they wish to upgrade their program or branch preference.
