Dislikes
- Most of the students are french native so do not expect them to be as friendly as they would be with other french people.
- Slight racial discrimination can be expected.
- Few professors are very strict with their deadlines.
Placement
- Jobs are difficult to get, as the companies require you to speak french and if you speak french you can get a job easily.
- About 10% of the people from our batch got a job within 6 months of graduation.
- To get a job, the most commonly used platform is linkedin
- The batchmates that got a job in our batch got 60-70k euro packages.
- They got a job as an analyst at N26 and amazon. Almost every company hires graduates from our program.
- It's just that you should speak french really well.
- There is a platform called studapart which helps with accommodation and it's the best platform to find apartments.
- 350 was the rent; facilities included were an oven, washing machine, electricity, water, fridge, dishwasher and stove.
- Use Studapart for finding apartments.
- My accommodation was 2 km from college. Most indians stay near university of rennes 2.

- Professors - With their largely diverse but effective styles of teaching. Specially memorable were faculties of Database for Direct Marketing and e-CRM as well as Principles of E-commerce.
- Campus and Social Life - Diversity and openness
- Placement Records and College Ranking (Consistent strong performer)
Dislikes
- Administrative Staff - Very inefficient and slow - Processes like obtaining ID Card, getting Portal Access, and finally obtaining Semester Transcript were cumbersome
- Housing - Limited low-cost university housing - gets filled very rapidly - had to pay a large monthly rent to stay at a nearby hostel
- Breaking ice with french students was an arduous task for me.
Placement
- I am sure that more than 2/3 of the batch does secure a job within 6 months; however, variability in pay exists based on the relevance of the previous work experience of the student as well as their academic record. College helps with regard to job placements through Job Fairs, the Career Counseling Team, and a Strong Pan-Europe Alumni network.
- College put me in touch with a local apartment known as Appart'city Beauregard, where I rented a fully equipped studio apartment. As I had missed out on cheaper CROUS room listings offered by the college due to a delay in applying, I ended up renting a pricey, luxurious studio at Appart'City, which was definitely top-tier.

- Its unique culture where activities and studies are happening on ongoing basis and many opportunities to work.
- You get a vast library with various specialized trading rooms for your academic purpose.
- The faculty is mostly international so there is a chance to find mentor from your country and pursue research works under their aegis.
Dislikes
- You require at least some years of experience and your French should be good to get a job.
- A lot of parties as french people do lots of parties so the location of your residence is prime importance.
- Very few Indian stores but there are appropriate to get supplies.
Placement
- The job opportunities are many but mostly you have to find them on your own or network with people. I have found most of the people getting jobs through contacts and it usually takes 6-12 months, depending on your skills. My advice is to gain some experience in India and then apply, as you would be more open-minded and could show your expertise in your CV.
- The accommodation is generally of two types. One is shared accommodation, where you can pair up with up to 5 of your friends and move into an apartment or find a studio where you can live alone, like a hostel. Generally the studio for 1 is more costly but is more preferred as you can live by yourself and don't have to share a kitchen or washroom.

- The average salary range might be €1000-2000 depending on the job role and location.
- Students typically find jobs through LinkedIn or sometimes through college websites.
- The highest and lowest salaries are hard to mention because they vary wildly between corporations.
- College will help you apply at CROUS, which is the government hostel.
- The rooms are pretty small (9m2) but nevertheless, it’s decent given the low cost, especially with the help of CAF (caisse d’aide familiale).
- There are other sites online like Studapart and Agence d’immobilier but please be careful because local landlords are leeches who only see you as a source of income and will do anything to deny your deposit at the end.

- Alumni support for the students and career workshops

- Getting your first job is the toughest I can say because there are some language barriers. If your job requires to speak the language the advice is to consider learning to language from your home country to better your chances.
- The student alumni does help in CV building and networking but in the end it’s your skills and language which can take you a long way.
There is a requirement of France which is called as a gurantor. So basically that person can be a French citizen or French relatives who becomes your guarantor that they are letting you rent or live in your apartment. Normally agencies charge fees for it. Studapart was one of the platform I used to rent my apartment. And the best thing about renting an apartment in France when you are a student is that the government will give you concession of amount in CAF and it depends on the amount of rent you are paying. For eg. my rent was 470€ as I was living in a studio apartment I got 170€ back from the government.
