Likes
- I loved that Rennes was a small city and it is near by to a lot of places
- The overall quality of education
- Alumni support for the students and career workshops
Dislikes
- Lectures in different buildings which were far from each other
- College canteen food which has mostly pork in it
- French teacher didn’t start from basics which made it difficult to learn
There is a requirement of France which is called as a gurantor. So basically that person can be a French citizen or French relatives who becomes your guarantor that they are letting you rent or live in your apartment. Normally agencies charge fees for it. Studapart was one of the platform I used to rent my apartment. And the best thing about renting an apartment in France when you are a student is that the government will give you concession of amount in CAF and it depends on the amount of rent you are paying. For eg. my rent was 470€ as I was living in a studio apartment I got 170€ back from the government.
