EDHEC Business School Reviews
7 Reviews Found
Likes
- Curriculum was very relevant
- Infrastructure used was the most modern
- International environment helps you exchange knowledge of cultures
Dislikes
- Wish there was more support from career centre. It would have certainly saved from a lot of the struggle that we had to go through. Apart from this there isn’t any other specific thing that I disliked.
Campus Life
- Edhec has 3 campuses as I know in France. I was in the Nice campus. It's also present in Lille and Paris.
- All sports, dining, cafeteria and open space facilities are available in the university itself. A decent library as well.
- There’s a freshers night; we had Diwali celebrated too. There are other events organised by the university and student communities.
- There are student organisations in publishing editorials, then festivals as I said, etc.
Fees
- The fees were between 24 and 25k euros. For the hostel I paid 250 euros per month. Then there are tram annual cards with a 50% discount for students. I believe the tram fare was 75-80 euros per month.
- The fees charged were payable in 3 instalments. Once at the beginning, once at the end of the year and once at the end. Other expenses could be around 100-150 euros depending on your lifestyle.

Likes
- Professor quality is among the top in their field from Europe/ France. Well published PhDs.
- The school facilities are great. Quality of classrooms, free printouts, the lunch/ cafe/ vending machines help you not leave campus unnecessarily. Bloomberg lab available.
- All academics has a practical element in terms of teaching and projects. The projects add to the grade as well. It is not just rote learning or theory.
Dislikes
- It is more on the expensive side of schools. Cafe food is on the expensive side as well.
- Only the MFE program is ranked in the financial times, and not the others. The reputation as a target school is mostly for MFE, and not MIF (or others)
- MIF student quality will not be the best. It is not specialised and often overlooked by local students who will do the MIM program or preparation courses. They prefer to get into corporate finance or financial engineering.
Campus Life
- Lille, Nice (only finance courses), Paris and singapore. Printing area, vending machines, food, library, study areas, areas to sit down in a group, open terrace, cafe, gymnasium. It does not have sports or medical services.
- There are a few clubs, like the student finance club and the running club, that are popular. However, in a course that lasts 8-10 months, it is difficult to engage with them unless it is just another point to write on your CV. There are multiple festival celebrations that students conduct, and in the first month, there are engagement events for the students to mingle. There is also one major career fair.
- It is a small campus with not many in-house facilities. So the finance and trading clubs do a few weekly publications. The running club runs with the professors. There are other clubs that charge money to take you skiing for adventure activities if it is interesting to anyone.
Fees
- Tuition is 28000 (24000 after scholarship). It is annual
- Residences range from 150 per month to 600 per month. 30% reimbursed approx. by the government.
- Transport for trams and busses is 192 per year (subsidized cost for students)
- Assume a living expense of 650 per month when saving or 1000 per month to live very well. With 1000, you can take international vacations and eat out.
- The cheapest you can stay for is less than 500 with a small room at CROUS and buying subsidised groceries from their market.

- I like about EDHEC Business school is Location.
- International environment
- Course Structure
Dislikes
- Campus residence could be better
- High fee structure
- Food could be diverse
Campus Life
- EDHEC has four campuses. There is one in Lille, one in Nice, one in Paris and one is in Singapore. I studied at the Lille campus. There is a huge library, sports campus includes activities like gym, basketball, volleyball, swimming, badminton, squash, and a dance room. There is a doctor which visits weekly but you have to take appointment beforehand if you want to consult them.
- For the events, there are many associations but for the majority of them, you need to know French. So it is difficult for Indian students to join them. There is an Indian association also, which organises Diwali and Holi events on campus. There is a sports fair held annually where students from different universities come to compete. So there are many cultural and sporting activities organised throughout the year.
Fees
- So the fee structure is semester wise. For the first semester, it was 15000 euros, followed by 12500 euros for next two semesters. Hostel or accommodation fees are not included in this fee structure. Accommodation can vary up to 450 euros to 900 euros on where you live.
- My monthly expenses approximately were 500 euros for rent, 50-75 euros for transport, 100-120 for groceries and 50-70 euros for miscellaneous activities.

Likes
- Multiple subjects on offer. Strong curriculum with a lot of group and individual projects
- International environment
- Great professors
Dislikes
- Located little far from the city center
- Food options are not that great according to Indian standards
- Not too many associations we can be a part of because of French language barrier
Campus Life
- There are a lot of associations in EDHEC which give you the chance to experience different events in the campus around the whole year. there's also an association named Namaste Francais and they do celebrate Diwali and Holi.
- That is a Chinese association with Chinese New Year, there is an association related to arts and using the system, some fashion show events. so all in all it's well rounded with a multiple options to go.
Fees
- The total tuition fees was around 40,000 euros and I got a scholarship of 25% also I got a scholarship of the French government it is the Eiffel excellence scholarship.
- Regarding the stay and living in France including the rent I think around 750 Euros to 900 euros will be your monthly average spend including everything but excluding the trips and travel plans you have

Likes
- Very supportive and helping Career center, providing range of support from helping you with your Cv, to hosting various career fairs from different Industries like Luxury, tech, gaming to help you interact with industry experts right on campus
- Very Helpful International Student Office, helping you right from the beginning you have your admissions confirmed to everything while you are as a student and even afterwards. They helped me out right from Visa, visa renewal and even contacting prefecture on behalf of me for multiple occasions. They are like your "Go-to support system" for literally everything like which sim to get, which housing agency are good which are not, what areas to look like everything you can possibly think of.
- Very good academic and practical learning blend of coursework where each and every course your study is involved with a industry case study or project where you basically work with industry experts to solve real world problems. One such i did was with Amazon to solve the problem of "how to increase young people under 25 age to drive to the amazon france website and shop more there"
Dislikes
- The language barrier is something one should work, I know this is not specific to the college but is more specific to France so I suggest anyone who is coming must start learning French and especially the ability to converse
- There is nothing to be disliked about in my experience and it has been very positive for me so far with all the first year and gap year internships so for me France and EDHEC has been a very learning experience and growing as a person.
Campus Life
-
There are variety of Clubs that one can be part of. From Wine tasting club to Rafting clubs there are all sorts of clubs one can be part of and try there hands on.
-
We even have an Indian Students Club call Namaste Francaise which celebrates all major Indian Festivals on the campus helping France and other students better understand the Indian Cuisine and Culture to all students, faculties at EDHEC.
Fees
- Tuition fees = 44 800 Euros for the whole course to be paid in 4 instalments
- Living expenses per year = 6500 euros which includes living and food for me. it is highly dependent on one's lifestyle but on an average this is the number that most people fall under when coming here.
- Monthly expense = 650 euros per month including rent and food expenses that you incur during the month.

Likes
- Great environment and location for masters students
- A good mix of international students from diverse backgrounds
- Amazing professors and mentors who led the program
Dislikes
- A very short program compared to most masters. Out of the 18 months 6 months is basically the internship period.
- Quite hectic for this program as most courses are completed quickly.
- Less time to spend with each subject with the workload.
Campus Life

EDHEC has campuses in
LILLE
PARIS
LONDON
NICE -
FACILITIES AT EDHEC LILLE:
- Library,Gym,Swimming pool,Dance room,Yoga classes,Games room,Cafeteria,Grocery ,Doctor. - Major events included mainly career fairs.
- The Diwali celebration is also big on campus. Food is provided to all who register and there are performances put together by the Indian club.
- Holi is also celebrated on campus with faculty joining Indian students.
- Masters students do not usually take part in extra curricular as there is honestly no time. The associations and clubs are mainly for the MIM students or the bachelor students. So I don not have much information on this. But I have seen that every week one of the clubs has some event and encourage all to join. Most of them have only French students unfortunately and international students are not accepted from the experience of my friends.
Fees
- The total was around 21,000 euros taken in 3 deposits.
- First one before the start of the year one in between and one by December.
- Tuition - 21000
- Hostel - depends on the accommodation you choose.
- I chose to live off campus and paid 540 euros per month all charges included.
- France offers rent support for students and young professionals and the international office helps us with this too. Once set up depending on the residence type and if it is studio or home shared each student receives monthly support from the CAF organisation.
- I received 99 euros per month.
- Living charges obviously vary from person to person but for essentials and grocery it would come around 40 euros per week
- In the first week edhec helps students set up a bank account where 80 euros is given to each student when opening an account.
- For public transport edhec also provides a service to set up your card and it is upto the student to subscribe monthly or not. This was 35 euros per month.
- Monthly expenses including rent can be between 1000 euros to 1500 euros.

Likes
- Great campus, the campus is large with ground and a separate sport building for every sport, including a big swimming pool and a gym.
- Good faculty and teachers are highly qualified.
- Has a good brand name in all of France.
Dislikes
- Doesn't has direct campus recruitments rather has events that help to meet recruiters
- College associations have a majority of French students that makes it difficult of international students to get into.
- The campus is around 12 KM far from the main big city Lille.
Campus Life
- Our campus has about 5 campuses. Lille, Nice, London, Paris, Singapore
- Our campus has a sports building with every sports, gym and a swimming pool as well. A library where we can study and has many books and medical practitioner as well.
- Their are many clubs but are mostly French dominated and their are two clubs named Namaste Francais and Indian Student Body that are Indian clubs and they organize festivals like Diwali and Holi and also sporting event ang guidance from the seniors.
- Extracurricular activities include inter college sport events, food events that keep happening in the college.
Fees
- The full tuition fee for the course was 26000 euros for the entire course.
- For me it was divided into 3 installments: 6500, 9750 and 9750. I paid 6500 as the first non-refundable scholarship from India and the second 1 month after coming and the other after 4 months that was the end of 1st semester and the beginning of 2nd.
- The rent depends on the place you live. If you live in a KOT that is personal room with an attached washroom but a shared kitchen with 6 people then it is 525 euros including electricity. If you live in a studio that has a personal kitchen it is 545 euros with approx. 40-60 euros for the electricity bill that is separate. If you live in a house with a landlord then it can be 400-450 euros per month. If you live in a shared house or student residencies then it can be 450-550 euros some have electricity included and some doesn't have. Student residencies do have breakfast included and the campus residencies as well.
