Normalization of UP B.Ed JEE Scores

UP B.Ed JEE 2024 Score Normalization

Through UP BEd JEE 2024 Score Normalization, candidates’ performance is analysed by a process to compare their data using a statistical method set by the conducting body.

Through the score normalization method, the candidates’ percentile score is calculated. In the below section, a brief about the normalisation method is mentioned.

  • In this process, a formula is applied for the calculation of the percentile score. The formula is 100* total number of candidates available in the group with aggregate marks that is not more than the number of candidates divided by the number of candidates in the total present in the group.
  • For instance, 100* The total number of candidates appearing in UP B.Ed JEE with aggregate marks that is not more than candidate A will be divided by the number of candidates in total who appeared in the entrance test. 
Counselling

UP B.Ed JEE 2024 Counselling

The counselling process for UP B.Ed JEE 2024 is expected to begin in the 2nd week of July 2024. UP B.Ed JEE 2024 Counselling process is mentioned below. 

  • For the counselling session, candidates who will secure the minimum score in the entrance test will be selected for the counselling session.
  • Before starting the counselling session, shortlisted candidates will receive a confirmation mail or they will be informed via their registered mobile number. 
  • For the counselling process, a notification containing the place and the contact details for the counselling session will be released on the official website. 
  • After the completion of some process of the counselling session from registration to web options entry process, candidates must complete the verification procedure. In this process, candidates must present all the required documents in original and verify these.
  • After the completion of the verification process, candidates need to pay the minimum amount of the requisite fee for the counselling process. 
  • After the successful completion of the payment process, the academic session for 2024-2024 is likely to start from the 1st week of November 2024. 
Merit List

UP B.Ed JEE 2024 Merit List

After the official declaration of UP B.Ed JEE 2024 Result, a merit list is released through the official website of the university. The merit list will comprise the name of the candidate who will obtain the minimum cut off score in UP B.Ed JEE 2024. If more than one candidate secures the same marks in the entrance exam, then a tie-breaking process will be conducted. 

Tie-breaking for UP B.Ed JEE 2024

To break the tie, the concerned authority will apply some process. The process is given below. 

  • When more than two candidates secure the same score in the exam, then the candidate from the same institute, affiliated or university as the conducting body will get the first preference.
  • If more than one candidate with the same marks belongs to the same university, then the candidate who is older in age will get the first preference. 

In the below section, the criteria for the final selection through the merit list are given. 

  • Based on the categories like SC, ST, OBC, etc the merit list will be categorized and released.
  • In case a tie exists between two candidates, a tie-breaking process will be conducted by the concerned authority. 
  • Candidates who belong to the same university or affiliated institute will get the first preference.
  • If the tie exists between more than two candidates who are from the same university or the same institute or the candidate who is older than the other candidate will be preferred the first.
