The seat allotment result is published on the official portal on the notified date. You receive a provisional allotment letter if a seat is assigned. Review the allotted college carefully — you must then decide whether to confirm, upgrade in the next round, or withdraw from counselling.

Step 5: Seat Confirmation and Reporting

Log in to the portal after the allotment result, confirm your seat, and download your Provisional Allotment Confirmation Letter. Report to the allotted college within the stipulated deadline with all original documents. Failure to report by the deadline forfeits your allotted seat — the seat is then released to the next eligible student in the subsequent round and is not recoverable.

How Much Money is Needed for UP BEd JEE Counselling 2026?

UP BEd JEE 2026 counselling requires two types of payments at registration: a non-refundable counselling fee paid each time you register for a round, and an advance college fee that is either adjusted against your admission fees or refunded depending on your allotment outcome. All payments are online only — no demand draft or cash is accepted.

Non-Refundable Fees

The counselling registration fee of ₹750 is non-refundable, regardless of whether you receive a seat allotment. This fee is charged afresh for every round you register in — participating in three rounds means you pay ₹750 × 3 = ₹2,250 in total non-refundable fees.

Refundable Fees

The advance college fee of ₹5,000 (Rounds 1 and 2) is refunded in the following situations:

• You registered and paid but no seat was allotted to you in that round.
• You were allotted a seat but did not confirm it within the confirmation deadline.
• You participated in Round 1, confirmed a seat, and then upgraded to a different college in Round 2 — the advance fee from Round 1 is adjusted against the new admission.

If you withdraw after accepting a seat, the seat acceptance fee is not fully refunded. The ₹750 counselling registration fee is never refunded under any circumstances. Refunds are credited to the bank account you register during the counselling process — ensure your account number and IFSC code are correct at registration.

In Pool Counselling (Round 3), the advance institute fee of ₹51,250 is not a penalty — it represents a significant portion of the annual B.Ed programme fee and is fully adjusted when you join the college. Withdrawing after Round 3 seat acceptance, however, means you may not recover this amount in full — check the official refund policy notification before registering for Round 3.

UP BEd JEE Round-Wise Seat Allotment 2026

Seat allotment across five rounds progressively fills all available B.Ed seats in participating institutions. Each round handles a distinct stage of the admission lifecycle, with earlier rounds offering broader choice and lower advance fees.

Seat allotment in every round is based strictly on your state rank and the order of preferences you locked during choice filling. A better rank (lower rank number) gives you a higher chance of being allotted your top preference. If your preferred college has no vacancy in your category, the system automatically moves to your next choice — which is why filling a long preference list matters.

After Round 1 allotment, you have three options: confirm the seat and stop participating, float to Round 2 hoping for a higher-preference college while retaining the current seat as a fallback, or withdraw entirely. Round 3 (Pool Counselling) does not offer a float/upgrade option — a seat accepted in Round 3 is final.

Reporting to College After UP BEd JEE Seat Allotment

After accepting your allotted seat on the portal, you must physically report to the college within the deadline specified in the round-wise schedule. Late reporting — even by one day — results in automatic cancellation of the allotment, and the seat is released to the next eligible student.

• Download and print the Provisional Allotment Confirmation Letter from the counselling portal before visiting the college.
• Carry all original documents and self-attested photocopies as listed in the Documents Required section above — the college will not accept substitutes or digitally signed copies.
• Pay the balance college admission fee (total programme fee minus the advance fee already deposited) as per the college’s fee structure; accepted payment modes vary by institution.
• The college will verify your originals, retain attested photocopies, and issue an Admission Confirmation Receipt — this is your official proof of enrollment.
• For university constituent colleges, reporting is done at the university campus office; for affiliated private colleges, report at the college campus directly.

Do not wait until the last day to report — college offices process large numbers of students near deadlines and may close early. Carry extra passport-size photographs and spare photocopies of every document to avoid unnecessary delays at the verification counter.

Upgrade, Freeze, or Withdraw: What Should You Do?

After each round’s allotment result, every student must decide their next action. This decision directly affects whether you can participate in subsequent rounds and whether your advance fee is retained or refunded. If you withdraw after accepting a seat, the seat acceptance fee is not fully refunded. The upgrade (float) option is not available after Round 3 (Pool Counselling) — a seat accepted in Round 3 or later is a final admission decision.
