Minimum qualification marks required for TGICET 2025 counselling process is 25%, i.e., 50 out of 200 for General category students. Although, no benchmark has been set if you belong from SC/ST groups.

Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda, on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), Hyderabad has released the TS ICET 2025 answer key on June 21, 2025. Along with the answer key, response sheet and question paper has been released on the official website – icet.tgche.ac.in. Download response sheet with registration number and ICET hall ticket number. You do not need any credentials to check the question paper with answer key.
In case candidates have any objections, they can challenge the answer key from June 21. The answer key challenge window is open on the official website. The last date to raise objections is June 26, 2025 till 5 PM. Pay a fee of Rs. 500/- per Question to raise the objection on any Question /Preliminary Key.
TS ICET 2025 exam was conducted on June 8 and 9, 2025. The exam was conducted in two sessions – forenoon and afternoon.

TGICET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
TGICET 2025 Eligibility Criteria notified by Mahatma Gandhi University is detailed below:
Nationality:
- An applicant must be an Indian National.
Educational Qualification Requirements:
- Recognized Bachelor’s Degree Examination of minimum 3 years’ duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories).
- If the qualifying degree is obtained by distance mode then it should be recognized by the joint committee of UGC, AICTE, and DEC.
- Candidates who are in their final year of the qualifying examination can also apply, provided their results will be declared on or before the TGICET Counselling Process
Age Limit
- The minimum age of the candidates should be 19 years as on the date of notification (Candidates whose date of Birth up to 30th MARCH, 2004).
Number of Attempts:
- There is no set limit for the number of attempts.

TGICET 2025 Syllabus
The syllabus of TGICET 2025 as released by the organizing committee is as follows:
Section-A – Analytical Ability
- Data Sufficiency: A question is given followed by data in the form of two statements labeled as i and ii.
- If the data given in alone is sufficient to answer the question then choice (1) is the correct answer.
- If the data given in ii alone is sufficient to answer the question then choice (2) is the correct answer.
- If both i and ii are put together are sufficient to answer the question but neither statement alone is sufficient, then choice (3) is the correct answer.
- If both i and ii put together are not sufficient to answer the question and additional data is needed, then choice (4) is the correct answer.
- Problem Solving:
- Sequences and Series: Analogies of numbers and alphabet, completion of blank spaces following the pattern in a:b::c:d relationship; odd thing out: missing number in a sequence or a series.
- Data Analysis: The data are given in a Table, Graph, Bar diagram, Pie Chart, Venn Diagram, or Passage is to be analyzed and the questions pertaining to the data are to be answered.
- Coding and Decoding Problems: A code pattern of the English Alphabet is given. A given word or a group of letters is to be coded or decoded based on the given code or codes.
- Date, Time & Arrangement Problems: Calendar problems, clock problems, blood relationships, arrivals, departures and schedules, seating arrangements, symbol and notation interpretation.
Section-B – Mathematical Ability
- Arithmetical Ability: Laws of indices, ratio, and proportion; surds; numbers and divisibility, l.c.m. and g.c.d; Rational numbers, Ordering.; Percentages; Profit and loss; Partnership, Pipes and cisterns, time, distance and work problems, areas and volumes, mensuration, modular arithmetic.
- Algebraical and Geometrical Ability: Statements, Truth tables, implication converse and inverse, Tautologies-Sets, Relations and functions, applications - Equation of a line in different forms.
- Trigonometry - Trigonometric
TGICET 2025 Answer Key
The exam conducting authority publishes Two Answer Keys i.e. Preliminary and Final answer key of TGICET. Candidates can check the preliminary answer keys of TGICET 2025. The last date to challenge the answer key is June 26, 2025
- Candidates will be able to calculate their marks before the announcement of TGICET 2025 Result
- Candidates were also given the facility to submit their objection on the primary answer key if any, to the office of the Convener.
- TGICET's Final answer key will be published along with Results on June 28.
- Candidates must note that TGICET 2025 Results and Rank List will be prepared based on the final merit list.
TGICET 2025 Result
TGICET 2025 Results will be available on the official website. The unreserved category candidates must secure at least 25% marks in order to qualify it. However, for the candidates of ST or SC categories, there are no such qualifying marks. Based on the TGICET 2025 Results, the conducting body will announce the Merit List. Candidates can check their individual TGICET 2025 Scorecard through the following steps:

TGICET 2025 Merit List
- Mahatma Gandhi Univeristy will publish a separate merit list for both courses based on the candidates’ performance in the entrance test.
- Candidates who score more than the cutoff marks will qualify for the next rounds.
TGICET 2025 Counselling
Based on the TGICET 2025 Merit list, qualified candidates will proceed for the TGICET 2025 Counselling. TGICET 2025 Counselling registration for Phase 1 will commence in the first week of September 2025.
- Admission to 85% of seats shall be reserved for the local candidates.
- 15% of the seats shall be left unreserved, as specified in the AP Educational Institutions order 1974 as amended.
TGICET 2025 Counselling will contain various steps which are discussed below:
- Registration – All the candidates who are selected for TGICET Counselling must register themselves by filling out the registration form at the counselling center.
- Certificate verification – Once the registration is done, the candidates must report to the counseling center with the required list of documents mentioned below for certificate verification.
- Online Web Options Entry & Freezing or Locking of Options – After the certificate verification, the conducting body will release an online portal for the candidates where they have to enter their preference of colleges in the online portal and lock it.
- TGICET 2025 Seat Allotment – During the seat allotment process, the choices that have been locked before the deadline will be considered for seat allocation. The final seat allotment will be made on the basis of the Merit list and availability of seats apart from the candidate’s choice.
- Payment of Fee and Reporting in the allotted college
- The next step is the payment of the fee. Candidates are required to download the bank challan from the online website.
- The fee can be paid in any of the Andhra Bank or Indian Bank in the state of Telangana.
- Candidates will receive proof of the payment and with this receipt, the candidates must report to the allotted colleges.
Documents Required for TGICET 2025 Counselling
Candidates appearing for TGICET 2025 Counselling are required to take certain documents to the counseling center. Candidates of all categories must carry these documents:
- Rank Card
- TGICET Admit Card
- Mark sheet of SSC / Intermediate or Equivalent Qualifying Examination
- Class IX to Degree Certificates
- Caste & Income certificate issued on or after April 1, 2025
- Transfer Certificate of Degree or Equivalent
- Residence Certificate
- In the case of non-local candidates residential certificate of either of parents in Telangana for 10 years excluding the period of employment outside Telangana from Tehsildar.
- Aadhar Card
TGICET 2025 Cutoff
- TGICET 2025 Cutoff is the minimum score required to secure admission in MBA and MBA courses offered by various colleges and institutions in the state of Telangana.
- TGICET 2025 cutoff will depend on a lot of factors such as:
- The number of applicants,
- The number of seats available,
- Previous year cut off marks and the difficulty levels of the entrance test.
- Candidates have to score a minimum of 25% marks in the entrance test (no minimum marks in the case of SC/ST candidates) to qualify for the counseling rounds.
- The ranking of the merit list will be in the descending order of total marks scored in the entrance exam.
- A separate Reserved category list will also be prepared.
- Based on candidates’ performance, they will be called for a Counselling procedure.
