TS ICET 2024 Spot Counselling Notification (Soon), Reporting, Fee, Admission, College Predictor

TSICET Spot Counselling notification has been released by TGCHE on the official website. TGICET Participating colleges are also set to release the notification and vacancy details on 9 October 2024 on the respective collegge notice board. The notification to fill left over vacancies will also be published in the newspaper on 10 October 2024. Moreover, the spot admissions at the participating institutes will be conducted on 15 October 2024 and 16 October 2024.

Telangana Council of Higher Education will soon release TS ICET Spot Counselling Notification 2024. Once the notification is released candidates can check the details  tgicet.nic.in.

TSICET 2024 special phase seat allotment is released on the official website of TGCHE. Students can log on to the official website of TGICET 2024 to download the allotment result. Students who have been allotted seats under the TGICET special phase allotment must report to the allotted colleges and pay the admission fee by 7 October 2024.

TS ICET 2024 special phase seat allotment result will be out on October 4, 2024. Candidates can check the allotment status on the official website – tgicet.nic.in. Candidates allotted seats in this round must pay the tuition fee and self-report through the website on or before October 5, 2024. Candidates are required to physically report to the allotted college for further admission process by October 7, 2024

TSICET special phase counselling details for 2024 was announced on September 28th, 2024. The registration process will be started from September 30, 2024. Candidates who did not get a seat allotted in any of the two counselling phases may get admissions through the spot counselling. TSICET spot counselling will be conducted by the participating colleges in person at their campus. TSICET participating colleges release the TSICET spot counselling details on its official website.

TGCHE has released the TS ICET 2024 final phase seat allotment result on September 25, 2024 at the official website tgicet.nic.in. Candidates can check the college-wise allotment list by entering the college and branch on the website tgicet.nic.in. To be eligible for TS ICET counselling, you must score at least 50% marks for general and 45% for reserved category candidates in the qualifying exam. Candidates were able to exercise options entry till September 22, 2024. Candidates who have successfully completed the option entry process before the deadline stand a chance of securing a seat based on their TSICET rank.

Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (Autonomous) started the MBA admissions for Category B seats. The last date to submit the CBIT application form for category-B MBA seats is set as September 21 (9 PM). Candidates can apply for the Telangana MBA admissions at CBIT for category B seats in an online or offline mode.  Candidates can also fill and submit the CBIT MBA admission form by visiting the campus in person. 

TSICET 2024 Result h​as been announced on June 14, 2024. Kakatiya University has released the score card on the official website – icet.tsche.ac.in. Note that, you will be ranked based on your score in the exam (higher score, higher rank). You can check your rank using your TSICET 2024 hall ticket number on the official website.

As per TSICET marks vs rank analysis, with 160+ marks, the expected rank can be between 1 to 10. To secure a rank below 100, your marks should be above 140. Form the previous years’ cut off trend, it is observed that a rank below 500 is decent to get into top MBA/MCA colleges. To know admission chance to MA/MCA college, you can use TSICET College predictor 2024. The tool uses previous years’ cut off data to provide the best result.  

The cut-off marks for TSICET 2024 depend on various factors such as previous year trends, exam difficulty, the number of test takers and qualifiers, and the number of available MBA/MCA seats. There's also a tie-breaking policy if your score falls in a tie with another candidate. Minimum qualification marks required for TSICET 2024 counselling process is 25%, i.e., 50 out of 200 for General category students. Although, no benchmark has been set if you belong from SC/ST groups. You will be given State-wide ranks in the order of merit in TSICET 2024.

TSICET 2024 Answer Key

The exam conducting authority publishes Two Answer Keys i.e. Preliminary and Final answer key of TSICET. Candidates can check the preliminary answer keys of TSICET 2024. The last date to challenge the answer key is June 9, 2024

  • Candidates will be able to calculate their marks before the announcement of TSICET 2024 Result
  • Candidates were also given the facility to submit their objection on the primary answer key if any, to the office of the Convener.
  • TSICET's Final answer key will be published along with Results on June 28.
  • Candidates must note that TSICET 2024 Results and Rank List will be prepared based on the final merit list.  

TSICET 2024 Result

TSICET 2024 Results are now available on the official website. The unreserved category candidates must secure at least 25% marks in order to qualify it. However, for the candidates of ST or SC categories, there are no such qualifying marks. Based on the TSICET 2024 Results, the conducting body will announce the Merit List. Candidates can check their individual TSICET 2024 Scorecard through the following steps:

  1. Visit the official website of TSICET
  2. Click on the link ‘TSICET 2024 Result’
  3. Visit the official website of TSICET
  4. Click on the ‘TSICET 2024 Rank Card’ link
  5. Enter the Hall Ticket Number
  6. Upon clicking the submit button, TSICET 2024 Rank Card will be generated

TSICET 2024 Merit List

  • Kakatiya University, Warangal, will publish a separate merit list for both courses based on the candidates’ performance in the entrance test.
  • Candidates who score more than the cutoff marks will qualify for the next rounds.

TSICET Counselling

TSICET 2024 Counselling

Based on the TSICET 2024 Merit list, qualified candidates will proceed for the TSICET 2024 Counselling. TSICET 2024 Counselling registration for Phase 1 will commence in the first week of September 2024.

  • Admission to 85% of seats shall be reserved for the local candidates.
  • 15% of the seats shall be left unreserved, as specified in the AP Educational Institutions order 1974 as amended.

TSICET 2024 Counselling will contain various steps which are discussed below:

  1. Registration – All the candidates who are selected for TSICET Counselling must register themselves by filling out the registration form at the counselling center.
  2. Certificate verification – Once the registration is done, the candidates must report to the counseling center with the required list of documents mentioned below for certificate verification.
  3. Online Web Options Entry & Freezing or Locking of Options – After the certificate verification, the conducting body will release an online portal for the candidates where they have to enter their preference of colleges in the online portal and lock it.
  4. TSICET 2024 Seat Allotment – During the seat allotment process, the choices that have been locked before the deadline will be considered for seat allocation. The final seat allotment will be made on the basis of the Merit list and availability of seats apart from the candidate’s choice.
  5. Payment of Fee and Reporting in the allotted college
  • The next step is the payment of the fee. Candidates are required to download the bank challan from the online website.
  • The fee can be paid in any of the Andhra Bank or Indian Bank in the state of Telangana.
  • Candidates will receive proof of the payment and with this receipt, the candidates must report to the allotted colleges.

Documents Required for TSICET 2024 Counselling 

Candidates appearing for TSICET 2024 Counselling are required to take certain documents to the counseling center. Candidates of all categories must carry these documents:

  • Rank Card
  • TSICET Admit Card
  • Mark sheet of SSC / Intermediate or Equivalent Qualifying Examination
  • Class IX to Degree Certificates
  • Caste & Income certificate issued on or after April 1, 2024
  • Transfer Certificate of Degree or Equivalent
  • Residence Certificate
  • In the case of non-local candidates residential certificate of either of parents in Telangana for 10 years excluding the period of employment outside Telangana from Tehsildar.

TSICET Cut Off

TSICET 2024 Cutoff

  • TSICET 2024 Cutoff is the minimum score required to secure admission in MBA and MBA courses offered by various colleges and institutions in the state of Telangana.
  • TSICET 2024 cutoff will depend on a lot of factors such as:
    • The number of applicants,
    • The number of seats available,
    • Previous year cut off marks and the difficulty levels of the entrance test.
  • Candidates have to score a minimum of 25% marks in the entrance test (no minimum marks in the case of SC/ST candidates) to qualify for the counseling rounds.
  • The ranking of the merit list will be in the descending order of total marks scored in the entrance exam.
  • A separate Reserved category list will also be prepared.
  • Based on candidates’ performance, they will be called for a Counselling procedure.

TSICET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

TSICET 2024 Eligibility Criteria notified by Kakatiya University is detailed below:

Nationality:

  • An applicant must be an Indian National.

Educational Qualification Requirements:

  • Recognized Bachelor’s Degree Examination of minimum 3 years’ duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories).
  • If the qualifying degree is obtained by distance mode then it should be recognized by the joint committee of UGC, AICTE, and DEC.
  • Candidates who are in their final year of the qualifying examination can also apply, provided their results will be declared on or before the TSICET Counselling Process

Age Limit 

  • The minimum age of the candidates should be 19 years as on the date of notification (Candidates whose date of Birth up to 30th MARCH, 2004).

Number of Attempts:

  • There is no set limit for the number of attempts.

TSICET 2024 Form correction facility started on May 17th and can be completed on May 20th. To edit the the application form, adhere the following steps:

TSICET 2024 Syllabus

The syllabus of TSICET 2024 as released by the organizing committee is as follows:

Section-A –  Analytical Ability 

  1. Data Sufficiency: A question is given followed by data in the form of two statements labeled as i and ii.
  • If the data given in alone is sufficient to answer the question then choice (1) is the correct answer.
  • If the data given in ii alone is sufficient to answer the question then choice (2) is the correct answer.
  • If both i and ii are put together are sufficient to answer the question but neither statement alone is sufficient, then choice (3) is the correct answer.
  • If both i and ii put together are not sufficient to answer the question and additional data is needed, then choice (4) is the correct answer.
  1. Problem Solving:
  • Sequences and Series: Analogies of numbers and alphabet, completion of blank spaces following the pattern in a:b::c:d relationship; odd thing out: missing number in a sequence or a series.
  • Data Analysis: The data are given in a Table, Graph, Bar diagram, Pie Chart, Venn Diagram, or Passage is to be analyzed and the questions pertaining to the data are to be answered.
  • Coding and Decoding Problems: A code pattern of the English Alphabet is given. A given word or a group of letters is to be coded or decoded based on the given code or codes.
  • Date, Time & Arrangement Problems: Calendar problems, clock problems, blood relationships, arrivals, departures and schedules, seating arrangements, symbol and notation interpretation.

Section-B – Mathematical Ability 

  1. Arithmetical Ability: Laws of indices, ratio, and proportion; surds; numbers and divisibility, l.c.m. and g.c.d; Rational numbers, Ordering.; Percentages; Profit and loss; Partnership, Pipes and cisterns, time, distance and work problems, areas and volumes, mensuration, modular arithmetic.
  2. Algebraical and Geometrical Ability: Statements, Truth tables, implication converse and inverse, Tautologies-Sets, Relations and functions, applications - Equation of a line in different forms.
