What is TSICET?
TSICET is an entrance exam administered at the state level, called the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test. TSICET will be held annually at Kakatiya University in Warangal on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education. Admission to MBA and MCA programs at Telangana universities and affiliated colleges is exclusively determined by TSICET.
- Applicants must have earned a bachelor's degree in all subjects with at least 50% of the possible points in a minimum of three years.
- For reserved category students (SC/ST), the requirement is 45%.
Final-year students awaiting results are also allowed to TSICET apply.
The scores of TSICET are widely accepted by all state universities and affiliated colleges offering MBA and MCA programs in Telangana.
Ques: What is the TSICET exam format?
Ans: The 200 multiple-choice questions of the TSICET are broken down into three categories: communication ability, mathematical ability, and analytical ability. The test is administered online (CBT).
Ques: How much does it cost to apply for TSICET 2025?
Ans: The application cost is around ₹750 for general candidates and ₹550 for candidates who are SC, ST, or have a disability.
Ques: Does TSICET have an age restriction?
Ans: No, there isn't a maximum age requirement to take the TSICET.
Ques: Can students apply for TSICET from other states?
Ans: Yes, candidates from outside Telangana can also TSICET apply. However, 85% of seats are reserved for local candidates, and 15% are open to non-local candidates.
Ques: What is the validity of the TSICET score?
Ans: TSICET scores are valid for one academic year only (for admission in the same year of the exam).
TSICET 2025 Result
The TSICET 2025 results were announced on 7 July 2025 by Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda, on behalf of TGCHE. The rank list includes candidates’ scores, section-wise marks, and overall ranks for MBA and MCA admissions across Telangana.
