TGCHE released the notification for TGICET Spot admission 2024 on the official website. As per the notification, students will be able to participate in the TSICET spot admissions from 15 October to 16 October 2024.

TGCHE will soon release the official notification regarding the TS ICET 2024 Spot Counselling notification at tgicet.nic.in.  TSICET spot counselling is held to fill vacant seats after all counselling rounds. Candidates who haven’t been allotted a seat based on their TSICET rank can participate in the spot counselling process. Those who are not satisfied with their allotted seat are also eligible for the TGICET spot counselling. Universities, where the seats are vacant, will start releasing the TSICET spot admission notifications along with the schedule and process.

TGICET 2024 special phase seat allotment result is out on the official website. Students can report to the allotted college and pay the admission fee by 7 October 2024.

TS ICET 2024 special phase seat allotment result was out on October 4, 2024. Candidates can check the allotment status on the official website – tgicet.nic.in. Candidates allotted seats in this round required to pay the tuition fee and self-report through the website on or before October 5, 2024. The Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET) special phase counselling details for 2024 has been announced on September 28th, 2024. The payment of processing fee, slot booking for certificate verification, certificate verification and option exercise will be started on September 30, 2024. TSICET 2024 final phase provisional allotment result has been released on September 25, 2024. Candidates can check the college-wise allotment list on the website by entering the college and branch. The allotment list includes hall ticket number, rank, name, gender, caste, region, and seat category. Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying exam to be eligible. 

The minimum qualification marks required for TSICET 2024 counselling process is 25%, i.e., 50 out of 200 for General category students. On the other hand, there is no minimum qualification marks for SC/ST categories. You must carry TSICET 2024 result along with other documents on the day of counselling for verification process.

TSICET 2024 cutoff marks is considered as the minimum qualifying marks for counselling procedure. Cut off for MBA or MCA will depend on difficulty level of paper, number of students appears and qualifies, and seats available. Ans. In order to participate in the TSICET 2024 counseling procedure, it is required by you to attend the document verification round. You will need to give your biometric information and original documents for verification during the document verification procedure.

Ans. You will be allotted their sectional as well as overall rank according to their individual TSICET 2024 results. As per the guidelines, those who have secured equal ranks or marks will undergo the below-mentioned tie-breaking procedure.

  • If the tie still persists, Higher Marks in Section B will be considered.

TSICET 2024 Counselling Process

TSICET 2024 Counselling Process for Phase 1 will begin in the first week of September 2024. There are six steps in the TSICET counseling procedure. The different steps of the counseling process are described below.

Step 1 – Payment of Counseling Fees

For the first process of counseling, candidates must pay the requisite fee. The fee can be paid online. After successful payment of fee, candidates must remember to obtain a receipt as proof of fee payment. This can be done by clicking ‘ Verify payment status Tab’. The counseling Fee will be INR 1200 for General and INR 600 for SC/ST.​

Step 2 – Candidate Registration for Certificate Verification

  • The first step in the process of TSICET 2024 Counselling is candidate registration. A candidate is required to register for the counseling process to enable the verification of his certificates.
  • Based on the performance in the TSICET  entrance exam, the candidates will be allotted ranks. The merit list will specify the names of all candidates in the order of their ranks. According to these ranks, students will be called for the process of certificate verification which will be conducted at various helpline centers.
  • Students will be required to hand over their rank cards to the officer stationed at the entrance of the helpline center when their rank is called out. After this, the students must register their names and pay the processing fee which consists of registration cum counselling fee. It is important at this stage to remember to obtain the receipt of payment.
  • The next step would be to collect the Registration cum Verification form from the computer operator who will be found at the registration counter in the registration hall. Students must verify whether the details and mobile number printed on the form are correct.
  • This will complete the registration process of the candidate and he would be required to now wait for the Certificate verification to be completed at the registration hall.

Step 3 – Document or Certificate Verification

Candidates are required to carry some important documents along with them to the helpline center for the purpose of verification. Without these certificates, the candidate will not be allowed to proceed with the counselling process.

  • If a candidate belongs to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Backward Classes (BC) Category, OBC Category, he is required to report to the Caste Verification officer and submit the original caste certificate for verification and clearance.
  • The candidate will then be provided a printout of receipts of certificates and in case of any discrepancy; he/she has to report to the Chief Verification Officer for correction
  • After caste verification, the candidate must report to one of the certificate verification officers to submit other relevant certificates such as Rank Card, Hall Ticket, Marks Memo, Study Certificate, and Income Certificate for verification.

Certificates to Be Produced By PH/CAP/NCC/Sports/Minority Candidates/Anglo-Indian 

This is the detailed list of documents to be carried by the candidates of PH/CAP/NCC/Sports/Minority Candidates/Anglo-Indian on the day of the TSICET 2024 Counselling:

For Physically Handicapped

  • Certificate issued by the District Medical Board
  • Candidates with 40% and above disability are only eligible

For Children of Armed Personnel (CAP)

  • Certificate issued by Zila Sainik Welfare Officer
  • Identity card, and Discharge book (In case of Ex-Servicemen)
  • Service Certificate (in case of Service Men) issued by Competent Authority for verification
  • Candidates whose parents are domiciled in the State of Telangana based on the Permanent Address/Home Town declared by them while joining the service and as recorded in their Service Register are alone eligible to be considered under CAP Category

For NCC & Sports

  • To produce Original Certificates issued by competent authorities.

For Minorities

  • SSC TC containing Minority Status or Certificate from the Head Master.

For Anglo-Indian

  • A Certificate issued by Competent Authority of their place of Residence.

Step 4 – Online Registration, Web Options entry, Modification & Freezing (Locking) of College options 

  1. The next step that the candidates must follow is to register for TSICET  Web Options Entry.
  2. Here, upon registration, the candidate will be able to generate a password by entering the registration number.
  3. The registration number can be found printed on the Receipt of Certificate which will be given to the candidate after the process of certificate verification is over.
  4. The candidate’s date of birth will also have to be entered in dd/mm/yyyy format.
  5. For the purpose of filling choices, there is no upper limit and candidates can enter as many choices as they wish to. It is strongly advised to save the options entered from time to time to avoid any kind of loss of data.
  6. The provision to modify the choices entered is given to the candidates. This can be done several times before the specified time limit. So, candidates should edit their entered options according to their discretion before the time duration is over.
  7. After having entered their final choices, the candidates must freeze or lock their choices before the deadline.

Step 5 – TSICET  Provisional Allotment List & Allotment Letter 

  • After the choices have been locked by the candidates, the process of TSICET 2024 seat allotment will begin.
  • Only choices that have been locked before the time duration will be considered while allocating the seats.
  • The allotment will be based on the TSICET 2024 merit list.
  • The list containing the information regarding the seat allotment will be made available on the official website.
  • The candidates are required to download the allotment order along with the Bank Challan.
  • To do this, the candidate will have to login into his/her account by using the login details created at the time of the web options entry process.

How to download TSICET 2024 Allotment Letter?

The candidate must download the provisional seat allotment order for TSICET 2024 by following some steps given below.

  • Visit the official website of TSICET at https://tsicet.nic.in/
  • Login to the site using credentials such as ROC Form Number, Hall Ticket Number or Admit Card Number of TSICET 2024, Date of Birth along with Password
  • Provisional seat allotment order for TSICET 2024 will be displayed on the screen
  • View and Check the list and download it in a PDF format

Step 5 –  Self Reporting & TSICET Seat Confirmation by payment of Tuition Fees 

  • To confirm the seat, the candidate must pay the tuition fee, which is already mentioned in the provisional allotment order, through the online mode and on the official website of TSICET via Debit Card or Credit Card or Net Banking within a specific period.
  • The candidate should know that this tuition fee is refundable and for the refund, the amount will go to the same bank account from which the candidate has made their payment
  • Following this event, the candidate will have to make Self Report at the college or institute allotted to them through the online mode. The details would be mentioned in the allotment letter.
  • After completion of this process, the candidate needs to register with the Biometric system to give the attendance in the allotted institute or college to officially confirm their interim allotted seat.
  • Based on the above-mentioned procedure especially the Self Report system, the admission number for the candidate will be generated.
  • The candidate needs to take a printout of this admission number from the official website.
  • Candidates must remember that if they are unable to pay the tuition fee and Self Report within the fixed time, their provisional allotted seat will be canceled. They will not be allowed to claim on that seat. 

Step 6 –  Reporting at the College of Admission

  • For the last process, the candidate needs to report to the concerned college or institute with the printout of the allotment letter and fee receipt.
  • Candidates must remember that if they are unable to report within the fixed time, at their college of admission, their provisional allotted seat will be canceled. They will not be allowed to claim on that seat.

TSICET 2024 Qualifying Score 

The candidate must ‘Qualify’  to be eligible for TSICET counseling. The parameters for TSICET 2024 Qualifying scores are 

Qualifying marks in TSICET examination are 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates.
Candidate must achieve 50% aggregate marks in the degree examination (50% for unreserved candidates)

However, achieving TSICET qualifying Score in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted into MBA/MCA course unless the candidate:

  • Appears for Counseling at the notified Centers
  • Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for part-time\evening\distance mode
  • Satisfies all the eligibility criteria for admission as stipulated by the authority concerned.

TSICET Tie Breaking Procedure
