Osmania University Hyderabad on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education, has released the TS ECET 2025 provisional answer key on May 14, 2025, 5 PM onwards. Along with the provisional key, candidates can also access the question paper and response sheet on the official website ecet.tgche.ac.in.
If any candidates has any objections against the preliminary key, they can raise objections by May 16, 2025 till 5 PM.

TSCHE has released the exam dates for TS ECET 2025 for 2nd year lateral entry into B.E, B.Tech, B.Pharm courses. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 12, 2025 by Osmania University. It will be held from 9 AM to 12 noon for ECE, EIE, CSE, EEE, CIV, MEC, CHE, MIN, MET, PHM, and BSM.
Candidates securing 25% marks in aggregate or 50 marks out of 100 are eligible to participate in TS ECET counselling process. In case your score gets similar to another aspirant, a TS ECET tie breaking policy will be implemented. For engineering, marks obtained in engineering subject will be considered first. In case 2 or more pharmacy students scored the same marks, the qualifying marks will be considered for giving rank to students.
Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) is conducted by Osmania University on behalf of TSCHE. TS ECET 2025 is the standard entrance examination for Diploma and BSc in mathematics for admission to programs including Bachelor of Technology, Engineering, and Pharmacy in Telangana. Examinees may use TS ECET 2025 test to get lateral admission into standard BE/BTech second-year courses at universities and private unaided professional institutions, authorized by the All India Council for Technical Education.

TS ECET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates planning to appear for TS ECET 2025 exam must fulfill the basic eligibility criteria set by the conducting authorities. The requirement which must be met include:
Nationality: Candidates appearing TS ECET must be Indian citizens and residents of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.
Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have a diploma in either engineering and technology or pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh or any recognized diploma degree verified by the Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh government
OR
Candidates must have passed B.Sc. Degree examination of 3 years with mathematics as one of the subjects in the group combination from any recognized university in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.
Qualifying Marks (General): Candidates belonging to the non-reserved category must have passed a Diploma in Engineering and Technology or Pharmacy/ B.Sc in Mathematics with at least 45% marks.
Qualifying Marks (Reserved): Candidates belonging to the non reserved category must have passed a Diploma in Engineering and Technology or Pharmacy/ B.Sc in Mathematics with at least 40% marks
Aggregate Marks: Candidates must score 25% out of the aggregate marks; 50 marks out of 200 in the four subjects (3 for B.Sc. Mathematics), i.e., in order to obtain a rank in TS ECET 2025. For SC/ST candidates, there is no minimum marks requirement.
TS ECET 2025 Application Form
TS ECET 2025 Registration starts on March 3, 2025. Candidates who wish to register without a late fee must submit their application form by 2nd week of April 2025 (tentative).
TS ECET 2025 Application Fee
The application fee for TS ECET Exam fee must be paid online without which the candidates cannot proceed to register and fill the form. SC/ST, and Physically Handicapped candidates must pay INR 500 and general candidate have to pay INR 900.

TS ECET 2025 Application Process
TS ECET Application Process is completely online and can be completed in 3 steps as illustrated in the image above.
- Application fee payment: Here you have to enter some basic details before making the final payment. These include Qualifying Examination, Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket Number, Branch Studied at Diploma Level, Branch for the Entrance Test, Year of Passing the Qualifying Exam, Aadhaar Card Number of the Candidate, Candidate's Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, E-Mail ID, Category.
- Filling application form: First enter your payment reference number, qualifying exam hall ticket number, mobile number, and date of birth. Then select special category reservation and minority details if applicable.
- Print application form: After filling in all details check the same thoroughly and print the application form which must be carried to the exam center along with the admit card.
TS ECET 2025 Admit Card
TS ECET 2025 Admit Card has been released on 6 May 2025. Candidates can download their hall ticket by entering the credentials issued at the time of registration. The admit card has details such as exam date, exam time, test center location, registration number, and the paper selected.
Candidates must check all details mentioned on their hall tickets before downloading the same. In case of any discrepancy with the information printed on it, contact the relevant authorities and get the issue rectified.
TS ECET Exam Day Instructions
- Candidates appearing for the morning session must reach by 7:00 AM and those appearing for the evening session must reach by 1:00 PM
- In view of the pandemic situation, all candidates are required to wear a mask at the test center.
- Apart from the admit card/ hall ticket of TS ECET exam, it is mandatory to carry a government-issued identification card with a photograph.
- Candidates will not be permitted to carry any of the prohibited items to the test hall like:
- Electronic Gadgets including mobile phones, earphones, and bluetooth devices.
- Wristwatches
- Calculators
- Papers and log tables
- Candidates will have to leave their personal belongings like bags, if any, outside the exam hall as these are not allowed inside the test center.
- Candidates will be provided with rough sheets at TS ECET test center, hence they must not carry any sheets of paper. Furthermore, the rough sheets will have to be returned after the completion of the exam.
- All test takers must follow the COVID-19 regulations at the exam center:

TS ECET 2025 Result
TS ECET 2025 Result will be released on the official website and can be downloaded by candidates who appeared for the exam using their login credentials. Candidates have to enter their hall ticket number, registration number, and date of birth.
The authorities will also release a merit list soon based on the total marks obtained by candidates in the entrance exam. Details such as full marks, total marks, percentile of marks, percentage of marks, grade, and sectional marks obtained will be mentioned on the scorecard.
What is TS ECET 2025 tie breaking policy?
In case your score gets similar to another aspirant, TS ECET 2025 tie breaking policy will be implemented. According to it:
- Engineering: In case of a tie in aggregate, the marks obtained in Engineering subject, and in case of further tie the marks obtained in the Mathematics subject and if the tie still continues, the marks obtained in physics subject will be taken into account to decide the relative ranking. In case someone getting equal marks in each of the four subjects, they will be bracketed for the purpose of award of rank. Age will be considered at the time of admission for resolving the tie, the older ones being given preference
- Pharmacy: You will be ranked on the basis of merit in TS ECET [FDH & B.Sc.(Mathematics)]- 2025. In case of tie the percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination will be taken into consideration. On further tie, age will be taken into consideration; the older ones will be given priority at the time of admission
- B.Sc.(Mathematics): You will be ranked based on the marks obtained in the entrance examinations. In case of a tie in aggregate, the marks obtained in Mathematics subject and in case of further tie the aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination shall be taken into account to resolve the tie at the time of admission. On further tie, age will be taken into consideration; the older ones will be given priority at the time of admission.
TS ECET 2025 Cutoff
TS ECET 2025 Cutoff for various courses will be released afte the results are declared. Candidates must score the minimum required marks in order to qualify for the desired course at their preferred colleges.
- TS ECET Cutoff marks are 25% marks of the aggregate; 50 out of the total 200 in all 4 subjects (3 for B.Sc in Mathematics).
- There are no minimum qualifying marks required for candidates belonging to the reserved category such as SC and ST who must prove their category with supporting documents at the time of admission.
