The B.Tech/B.Arch./B.E admission in private and government engineering colleges across Rajasthan will be done through REAP 2026. The Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process or REAP 2026 will begin in May 2026 (tentatively), after the declaration of JEE 2026 results.

REAP 2026 Eligibility Criteria

There is no upper age limit for students applying for REAP 2026. A separate merit list with fewer seats (15% under the other state quota) will be prepared for students from other states.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have passed class 12th from a recognised board.

Or

  • Must hold a Diploma in Engineering and Technology.

Minimum Marks Criteria:

  • For general category students, the minimum marks required in class 12th is 45% aggregate.
  • For other reserved castes, including SC/ST/OBC-NCL, students must have passed class 12th with at least 40% aggregate marks.

Domicile Criteria:

Candidates who will fulfil the criteria given below can apply for REAP 2026:

  • Group A: Candidate or any of his/her parents must be a resident of Rajasthan.
  • Group B: Candidates must have been consistently living in the Rajasthan state for at least Class 10th, 11th, and 12th.
  • Group C: Candidate who is the son/daughter of either serving or retired officials from the Rajasthan state government.

REAP 2026 Reservation of Seats

REAP 2026 will have a reservation of seats for applicants belonging to different categories as per the statutory provisions of the state of Rajasthan.

  • For admissions through the reservation, the applicant will have to meet the criteria specified as per the category selected.
  • Only those applicants who meet the reservation criteria will be allotted seats as per the category.
