REAP 2026 Eligibility Criteria

You must check the REAP 2026 eligibility criteria before applying. The criteria differ based on the programme you want to join — B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, and lateral entry have separate requirements.

Eligibility for B.E./B.Tech (4-Year Programme)

• You must have passed Class 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognized board
• Compulsory subjects: Physics and Mathematics
• Third subject (any one): Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, or Biology
• Minimum marks (General / OBC / EWS / MBC): 45% aggregate in PCM
• Minimum marks (SC / ST / PWD — Rajasthan): 40% aggregate in PCM
• For JEE Main merit priority, you need a minimum of 20 percentile in JEE Main 2026 — those below this or without JEE Main are ranked by Class 12 board percentile
• There is no upper age limit for B.E./B.Tech admission through REAP 2026
• Final year Class 12 students (appearing candidates) are also eligible to apply

Eligibility for Lateral Entry (Direct 2^nd Year B.E./B.Tech)

• You must have a 3-year engineering diploma from a recognized polytechnic or board
• Minimum marks: 45% aggregate for General/OBC/EWS/MBC candidates; 40% for SC/ST/PWD of Rajasthan
• Lateral entry students are admitted directly into the 2^nd year (3^rd semester) of B.E./B.Tech

Eligibility for B.Arch (5-Year Programme)

• Class 12 with Mathematics as a compulsory subject
• Minimum marks: 45% aggregate (40% for reserved categories of Rajasthan)
• Valid NATA score or JEE Main Paper 2 (B.Arch) score is mandatory — without this, you cannot apply for B.Arch
• Merit = 50% weightage to Class 12 marks + 50% weightage to NATA/JEE Main Paper 2 score

Rajasthan domicile candidates get a 5% concession in minimum marks compared to out-of-state candidates of the same category. If you are not a Rajasthan domicile candidate, the General category marks criteria (45%) apply regardless of your reserved category certificate from another state.

REAP 2026 Registration Process

The REAP 2026 registration is done entirely online at reapraj.com. Keep your JEE Main 2026 scorecard, Class 12 marksheet, and Aadhaar card ready before you start. The fee payment deadline is June 10 and form submission closes June 12 — do not leave it for the last day.

Steps to Fill REAP 2026 Application Form

1. New Registration: Visit reapraj.com and click on "New Registration." Enter your name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID to create login credentials.
2. Aadhaar e-KYC Verification: Complete the mandatory Aadhaar-based e-KYC. Link your Aadhaar number and complete OTP-based verification.
3. Fill Personal and Academic Details: Enter your personal information, Class 10 and Class 12 details, and your JEE Main 2026 roll number and percentile (if applicable).
4. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, marksheets, Aadhaar, domicile certificate, and category certificate (if applicable) in the specified format.
5. Pay Application Fee: Pay the non-refundable fee (Rs. 885/- for General/OBC/EWS; Rs. 750/- for SC/ST/PWD) online via Net Banking, UPI, Credit/Debit Card, or E-Wallet before June 10, 2026. Save the payment receipt.
6. Final Submission: Review all filled details carefully. Once submitted, most details cannot be changed. Submit the form before June 12, 2026.
7. Download Confirmation: After submission, download and save the application confirmation page for future reference.

The application fee payment deadline is June 10, 2026. Pay at least 1–2 days before this date to avoid last-minute technical issues. A form without completed fee payment is considered incomplete and will be rejected.

Once submitted, the REAP 2026 application form cannot be edited. Verify all details — especially your JEE Main percentile, category, and domicile status — before clicking Submit.

REAP 2026 Application Fee

The REAP 2026 application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. Pay the fee online before the June 10, 2026 deadline. There are two separate fee components — the application/registration fee paid now, and a counselling registration fee paid when counselling opens after the merit list.

• Payment Mode: Online only — Net Banking, UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card, or E-Wallet
• Seat Acceptance Fee: Rs. 10,000/- is paid after your first seat allotment. This amount gets adjusted against your college tuition fee — it is an advance toward your admission, not an extra charge.
• Counselling Fee: Rs. 295/- counselling registration fee is paid separately when the counselling registration opens, after the final merit list is published on June 23, 2026.
• No Refunds: All fees paid to REAP are non-refundable. Even if you do not report to the allotted college, no fee is returned.

REAP 2026 Documents Required

You need documents at two stages — for online registration (upload) now, and for physical reporting at the allotted college in August. Keep both sets organized well in advance.

Documents for Online Registration (Upload Now)

• Class 10 marksheet and passing certificate (for date of birth proof)
• Class 12 marksheet with Physics and Mathematics marks clearly visible
• JEE Main 2026 scorecard (if applying under JEE Main merit; shows percentile clearly)
• NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 scorecard (for B.Arch applicants only — mandatory)
• Recent passport-size photograph (scanned, as per photo size guidelines on the portal)
• Scanned signature (on white paper, blue/black ink)
• Aadhaar card (for mandatory e-KYC verification)
• Domicile / bonafide resident certificate of Rajasthan (mandatory for state quota seats)
• Category certificate — SC/ST/OBC/EWS/MBC (if applicable; must be from a competent Rajasthan authority)
• PWD certificate showing 40%+ disability from a recognized government medical board (if applicable)
• Diploma marksheet and passing certificate (for lateral entry candidates)
• TSP area bona-fide resident certificate (for students applying to TSP area colleges in Banswara, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh)

Documents for Physical Reporting at Allotted College (August)

• All documents listed above — originals and self-attested photocopies
• REAP 2026 allotment letter (downloaded from the portal)
• Seat acceptance fee payment receipt (Rs. 10,000/-)
• Migration certificate from the board/university of Class 12
• Transfer certificate from the last institution attended
• Character certificate from a gazetted officer or principal of Class 12 institution
• Medical fitness certificate from a registered Rajasthan Government Medical Officer
• Anti-ragging affidavit (usually provided by the college at the time of admission)

OBC/MBC non-creamy layer certificates expire annually. Check the validity date on your certificate before uploading — an expired certificate will be rejected during document verification at the college.

REAP 2026 Merit List and Admission Basis

REAP 2026 does not have its own entrance exam. Your rank in the REAP merit list depends on your JEE Main 2026 percentile or Class 12 board marks. The merit list will be published in two stages — a tentative list on June 15 and the final list on June 23, 2026.

How the REAP 2026 Merit List is Prepared

Tie-Breaking Rules

If two candidates have the same merit score, REAP applies these rules in order until the tie is broken:

1. Higher marks in Mathematics (Class 12)
2. Higher marks in Physics (Class 12), if Mathematics marks are equal
3. Older date of birth — the candidate born earlier gets the better rank
4. Randomization — computer-generated random order used as the final tie-breaker

Merit List Timeline

After the tentative merit list is published, you will have until June 19 to raise objections if your data appears incorrect — for example, a wrong JEE Main percentile or incorrect category entry. The final merit list published on June 23 will be used for all subsequent counselling rounds.

Choices locked on June 26, 2026 apply to ALL counselling rounds. You cannot change your college-branch preferences between rounds. Use the mock round on June 24 to verify your list before the final lock.

REAP 2026 Seat Allotment

REAP 2026 seat allotment happens in multiple rounds from late June through August 2026. In each round, the system automatically matches your locked preferences with available seats based on your merit rank. The highest-merit candidate gets their most preferred available seat first.

How Seat Allotment Works

• The system scans your locked choice list from the top and allots you the first choice where a seat is available for your rank and category
• Rajasthan domicile candidates compete for 85% of total seats; out-of-state candidates compete for the remaining 15%
• Within each category, seats are allotted strictly in merit rank order
• The system does not wait for your consent at the time of allotment — your locked choices are final

After Seat Allotment — Steps to Follow

1. Check Allotment Result: Log in to the REAP portal and download your allotment letter
2. Accept the Seat: Respond with Freeze, Float, or Slide within the specified window
3. Pay Seat Acceptance Fee: Pay Rs. 10,000/- online — adjusted against your college fee later
4. Opt for Upward Movement (if needed): Choose Float or Slide if you want to try for a better option in the next round
5. Report to College: Visit the allotted college with original documents during the reporting window (August 12–22, 2026 for Rajasthan candidates)
6. Document Verification: The college verifies your original documents and completes admission formalities

If you do not report to the allotted college within the specified reporting window, your seat allotment is automatically cancelled. The seat moves to the next eligible candidate and is not restored under any circumstance.

After all centralized rounds end, colleges open Direct / Management Quota admissions from August 27 to September 11, 2026 for remaining vacancies. These seats are filled directly by individual colleges.

REAP 2026 Seat Reservation

REAP 2026 follows the Government of Rajasthan’s reservation policy. Seats are distributed across categories both vertically (fixed percentage for each category) and horizontally (across all categories for special groups). You should understand which category you fall under before applying, since category-specific seats have their own merit lists.

Key Points on REAP 2026 Reservation

• OBC-NCL and MBC: Reservation benefits apply only to non-creamy layer candidates. You must provide a valid, current (non-expired) non-creamy layer certificate from a competent Rajasthan authority.
• PWD Horizontal Reservation: PWD candidates compete within their respective category but also benefit from the 5% horizontal reservation. The disability must be 40% or more, certified by a recognized government medical board.
• Women’s Reservation: 30% of seats in each category are horizontally reserved for female candidates. If the required number of women candidates is not available, these seats revert to male candidates of the same category.
• TSP Area: Colleges in tribal sub-plan (TSP) areas — Banswara, Dungarpur, and Pratapgarh — have 45% of seats reserved for ST candidates who are bona-fide residents of the respective TSP area. A special TSP residency certificate is required.
• Out-of-State Candidates: You compete only for the 15% out-of-state quota seats. Closing ranks in this quota are typically less favourable than in the Rajasthan state quota for the same college-branch.

Category certificates must be issued by a competent authority in Rajasthan. Caste or income certificates from another state are not accepted for category benefits in REAP 2026.

Preparation Tips for REAP 2026

Since REAP 2026 does not have its own entrance exam, your preparation is about maximizing your merit rank and making smart choices during counselling. If JEE Main is already done, the focus shifts entirely to counselling strategy.

If Your JEE Main 2026 Is Done

• Calculate your expected REAP rank using your JEE Main 2026 percentile — candidates at 20 percentile or above are ranked by JEE Main score in REAP
• Compare your rank against 2025 REAP cutoffs (see Cutoff section) to identify realistic college-branch options before choice filling
• Shortlist 30–50 college-branch combinations across safe, moderate, and reach categories
• Keep all required documents (marksheets, category certificates, domicile, etc.) ready now — last-minute document hunting is the most common reason for missing the physical reporting deadline
• Register for REAP 2026 before June 12, 2026 if you have not done so yet — the deadline is imminent

If You Did Not Appear in JEE Main 2026

• Your REAP merit rank will be based on Class 12 board normalized percentile — you are still fully eligible and should apply before June 12
• Candidates without JEE Main score generally get a lower priority rank than JEE Main merit candidates, so research which colleges fall within your Class 12 percentile range before filling choices
• If you are appearing for JEE Main in a future session, you can still participate in REAP 2026 on Class 12 merit and upgrade later through the upward movement rounds if a better seat becomes available

Counselling Strategy

• Use the mock round (June 24): Fill all 150 preferences in the mock round to see what seat the system would give you at your current rank — this is your most valuable planning tool before the final lock on June 26
• Fill all 150 choices: Never leave choices incomplete. Start from your most preferred option and go down to your safest backup — every extra choice reduces the chance of going unallotted
• Choose Float in early rounds: If you get an allotment in Round 6 that is not your top preference, choosing Float lets you try for an upgrade in Round 7 and 8 without losing your current confirmed seat
• Think branch over college name: CSE at a well-connected private college in Jaipur often has stronger campus placements than Mechanical or Civil at a higher-ranked government college — research placement data, not just rankings
• Consider newer branches: AI&ML, Data Science, and Cybersecurity branches at many Rajasthan colleges have slightly lower cutoffs than traditional CSE, with growing demand in the job market
• Do not limit yourself to Jaipur: Colleges in Jodhpur, Kota, and Udaipur have lower competition and can be excellent backups — especially if you want a government college
