Lovely Professional University conducts a university level entrance cum scholarship test, LPUNEST 2025, to shortlist students for admitting students in its undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

  • LPUNEST is an entrance cum scholarship entrance exam.
  • It is a 150 minutes long test having 120 questions, each carrying 4 marks each.

Ques. Can I get an admission in Lovely Professional University without the LPU NEST?

There are two ways to look at this. LPU NEST is a compulsory entrance exam to seek admission to any of the engineering, MBA or any other courses at LPU. You can skip to appear for LPU NEST if you have qualified any national level entrance exam for the course you are applying to. If you have a JEE Main score for BTech or CAT/CMAT etc for MBA you can get direct admission at LPU. However, in my opinion there are some advantages of appearing for the LPU NEST. If you qualify for it, you will eligible for a scholarship. The admission process is also very simple as everything is uploaded to the portal when you apply for LPU NEST and you just have to get it verified once selected. LPUNEST is mandatory for some of the courses and is the minimum eligibility criteria as well, that you must fulfil. But for some courses it is only a scholarship test. LPU generally provides admission based on the LPUNEST entrance exam but also accepts other exams to provide admission. Ques. What is the criteria for the LPUNEST scholarship for MBA students?

I am a second year MBA student at LPU.  LPU offers merit-based scholarships to help its students and provide them with financial assistance in completing their degree.These scholarships are based on various categories.
