LPUNEST 2026 aspirants can apply for the test via online and offline modes. However, university officials encourage students to apply online for a fast, efficient, and smooth application process. Check LPUNEST 2026 Registration

The LPUNEST 2026 exam is going to be conducted from 20th January 2026 to 5th February 2026 (test center-based exam) and from 10th January 2026 to 5th February 2026 (remotely proctored exam). The registration and slot booking ends three days before the conduct of the exam, till August 15, 2026.

The LPUNEST 2026 result will be declared within 24 working hours after the exam. The candidates must keep themselves updated by regularly visiting the official website of the university.

For Phase V, the last date of admission is now August 20, 2026.

Ques. When will the authorities release LPUNEST admit card for session 2026?

Ans. There is no specific date for releasing the admit cards. The candidates will receive them as soon as they are done with their slot booking.

Ques. What is the total duration of LPUNEST 2026?

Ans. The duration of LPUNEST varies with the courses. For instance, B.Tech and MBA are 150 minutes long. However, LPUNEST for Law is 120 minutes long. The students must check the exam pattern of their course before appearing for the exam.

Ques. When will the results for LPUNEST 2026 be declared?

Ans. There is no one particular date for the declaration of results. This year the entrance exam will be conducted on a range of dates. Hence, the result for individual candidates will be declared within three days of their completion of the exam. For current schedule of LPUNEST, the results will be declared on 6 May 2026.

Ques. When will the Counseling Process of LPUNEST 2026 begin?

Ans. The counseling process will commence after the declaration of LPUNEST result 2026 for the respective session. The second round of counseling will only be conducted if there would be vacant seats after the completion of the first round.

Ques. Can I get an admission in Lovely Professional University without the LPU NEST?

There are two ways to look at this. LPU NEST is a compulsory entrance exam to seek admission to any of the engineering, MBA or any other courses at LPU. You can skip to appear for LPU NEST if you have qualified any national level entrance exam for the course you are applying to. If you have a JEE Main score for BTech or CAT/CMAT etc for MBA you can get direct admission at LPU. However, in my opinion there are some advantages of appearing for the LPU NEST. If you qualify for it, you will eligible for a scholarship. The admission process is also very simple as everything is uploaded to the portal when you apply for LPU NEST and you just have to get it verified once selected. LPUNEST is mandatory for some of the courses and is the minimum eligibility criteria as well, that you must fulfil. But for some courses it is only a scholarship test. I am a second year MBA student at LPU.  LPU offers merit-based scholarships to help its students and provide them with financial assistance in completing their degree.These scholarships are based on various categories.
