LFAT exam has been replaced by CUET UG 2024 entrance exam. Previously, Allahabad University used to accept LFAT score for admission into the BA LLB program. However, from now onwards, CUET UG 2024 exam scores will be considered. CUET UG 2024 exam is conducted in hybrid mode (OMR sheet or Computer Based Test). The exam is conducted on a national level by National Testing Agency (NTA).
You will be allotted multiple choice based questions (MCQs) divided into 3 sections. For all correct attempts, you will get +5 marks, 0 for unattempted answering. If more than one option is found to be correct, then +5 marks will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options. If all options are found to be correct, then +5 marks will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question. CUET UG 2024 exam is conducted on multiple days in three shifts. Duration of the exam for CUET UG 2024 are yet to be announced.
CUET UG 2024 syllabus is available in the form of a brochure on the official website. CUET UG 2024 syllabus is expected to be the same as the previous year. CUET UG 2024 syllabus is divided into three sections- Section 1A and 1B consists of Language subjects, Section 2 has domain-specific subjects, and Section 3 deals with the General Test section which is compulsory for all. CUET UG 2024 Exam Important Instructions
- Type of Questions- In Sections IA and IB of Language-based Sections, the skills of Language opted for by the candidates is going to be tested on the basis of Factual, Literary, and Narrative type Reading Comprehension Passages.
- Maximum Subjects- Candidates need to opt for a maximum of 3 Languages combined from Section IA and Section IB. However, the third language opted for needs to be in accordance with a Domain-specific subject. From Section II. candidates is going to be required to opt for a maximum of 6 subjects out of a total of 27 subject options provided. These is going to be based on the requirement as per the applicable university.
- Difficulty Level- The difficulty level of sections in CUET UG 2024 would be based on the Class 12th syllabus.
- Maximum Number of Attempts- If the respective University of the candidate provides that Class 12th students of the previous year are permitted to appear in CUET UG 2024, then such candidates can also opt to appear in the exam.
- Schedule of Exam: CUET UG 2024 is going to be conducted on multiple days in two shifts, depending on the number of candidates and languages/Tests taken by them.
