Last year, the Karnataka PGCET registration started on April 25, 2025. The last date to apply was May 14, 2025. This year also, we can expect similar dates for registration. The registration process is completely online. You have to provide details such as name, gender, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number for the fresh registration process. Before Filling Application, Please be ready with following Certificates.
- SSLC / 10th MARKS CARD to Enter Register Number and Date of Birth.
- 12th / 2nd PUC MARKS CARD ( In case of Previous year students).
- All the Reservation Certificates to enter RD Number /Caste (Category, Income, Hyderabad-Karnataka(HK) Certificates.) which ever if you want to claim.
- Details of studied in Karnataka.
- Degree Marks Card
- Degree Completion Certificate
- Candidate Latest Passport size photograph in .jpg format (Max 50 KB Size)
- Candidate Signature in .jpg format (Max 50 KB Size).
- Candidate Left hand thumb in .jpg format (Max 50 KB Size).
You need to pay the registration fee and submit the application. The application fee for General/OBC is INR 650 and INR 500 for SC/ST/Category I. After submission, you will receive an email of successful registration to Karnataka PGCET.

How to register for Karnataka PGCET 2026?
The online application form for Karnataka PGCET will be released in April, 2026. You can fill the form at kea.kar.nic.in. There are two phases in the entire procedure:
- Phase 1: Visit the official website of Karnataka PGCET and go to the ‘New User? Register here’ tab.
- Phase 2: Fill all the basic details. Here, one can edit or delete the information provided.
- Phase 3: Review and confirm the information provided. After confirming, candidates cannot make any edits in the application form.

Karnataka PGCET 2026 Eligibility
The courses offered via PGCET Exam are MBA/ MCA/ ME/ M.Tech/ M.Arch (full-time and part-time) in various institutes in the state of Karnataka. The eligibility for each program varies, read on to know a brief about the same:
For MBA Full-time & Part-time
- Full-time: Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years (+) 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ Category-I of Karnataka candidates)
- Part-time: Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years (+) 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ Category-I of Karnataka candidates) (+) must have worked for not less than 3 years as on July 31, 2026

- Rounding off aggregate percent is not permitted.
For MCA Full-time & Lateral Entry to 2nd year MCA
- Full-time: Bachelor’s Degree with Math/ Stats/ Comp. Sci./ Comp. App./ Comp. Prog./ Business Math/ Business Stats (any one subject) (+) 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ Category-I of Karnataka candidates).
- Lateral Entry: Bachelor’s Degree in BCA/ B.Sc(I.T./ Comp. Sci) (+) Math in 10+2/ Graduate level (+) 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ Category-I of Karnataka candidates)
For ME/ M.Tech./ M.Arch. Full-time & Part-time

Note: GATE qualifiers are exempted from the exam. However, they are required to fill the counselling/seat allotment form to participate in the admission procedure. Karnataka PGCET Registration: Uploading Scanned Documents
Candidates must keep scanned copies of their latest colored photograph, signature, parent signature and their left thumb impression. They must upload the documents mentioned in JPG/JPEG format.

KPGCET Application Fee Payment
- To complete the payment, candidates must select the bank challan and take a print out of the same.
- General category candidates must pay INR 650 while reserved category candidates shall pay INR 500 as application fee.
- The payment can be made through any branch of the specified bank. Candidates will be given two copies of the challan after the payment is completed, and the bank itself will retain one copy.
- Retain proof of the payment for any future references.
- After filling Karnataka PGCET 2026 Application Form, take a print out for future references.
