CLAT PG 2024 Exam Centers: Exam Day Guidelines

The CLAT consortium has laid down a set of guidelines in relation to the rules, code of conduct, dress codes, bell timings, marking criteria and other essential details. All the candidates must read and go through all the essential guidelines, so that no discrepancy may arise during the CLAT PG exam day. The marks which shall be attained by the students in CLAT PG Exam 2024 shall be acceptable by 24 NLUs under the LLM program. The general exam day guidelines related to CLAT PG 2024 exam are as follows:

• Only permitted items must be carried by the students inside the exam hall. Carrying up any other prohibited items may lead to the cancellation of the exam for such candidates.
• A passport-size photograph must be attached to CLAT PG Admit Card which has been issued by the CLAT consortium.
• Only the list of valid ID proofs which had been provided by the CLAT consortium on its official website is allowed to be carried by the candidates.
• Any kind of notorious or illicit activity conducted by any candidate inside the exam hall or inside the exam center shall serve as a ground for cancellation of the exam of such candidate.
• In case of any peculiar or special guidelines prior notifications shall be updated on the official website of the CLAT consortium.

Items Allowed in CLAT PG 2024 Exam Hall

The multiple items which the students are allowed to carry with them in CLAT PG 2024 exam hall comprises of -

• CLAT PG 2024 Admit Card issued by CLAT consortium.
• A photograph under the circumstance where the photo provided in the admit card is not clear.
• Water bottles which are transparent and white with no part being scribbled or hidden.
• Analogue watch with no other accessories or additions.
• Black or Blue ball point pens; no borrowing in the exam hall shall be allowed.
• A transparent hand sanitizer if required.
• Any form of disability proof if required.

Items Prohibited in CLAT PG 2024 Exam Hall

The following are the list of items that are not allowed inside the CLAT PG 2024 exam hall:

• No carrying up of any calculator or calculation device.
• No any kind of wallets, or handbags.
• No cameras or any other digital devices.
• No kind of phone or any other communication device.
• No digital watch, only the analogue watch shall be allowed.
• No any kinds of chits, notes, digests, study materials or registers.

In case any of the above items are found in the possession of any of the students, his/her paper shall be outrightly cancelled on the spot. The decisions taken by the invigilators in the exam hall shall be final, and no further arguments shall be tolerated by the candidates in the exam hall.

CLAT PG 2024 Exam Centers: Code of Conduct

For any special or additional details related to the code of conduct, the candidates must check the official website of the CLAT consortium regularly. The basic code of conduct to be followed inside CLAT PG 2024 exam hall are as follows:

• All the students must be present inside the exam hall along with their CLAT PG admit cards and other valid Id proofs which are mentioned by the CLAT consortium.
• The candidates must arrive at the exam hall 1 hour prior to the actual timings so that, all formalities related to security checks and other protocols could timely be completed by the exam center officials.
• After the completion of 15 minutes after the starting of the exam, no candidate whatsoever shall be allowed to enter inside the exam hall.
• Before the commencement of the exam, the students are required to sign their CLAT PG admit cards in the presence of the invigilator.
• No any kind of electronic devices must be carried by the candidates inside the exam hall.
• The candidates shall be permitted to leave the exam hall only after the completion of the complete time of the exam.

CLAT PG 2024 Dress Code

There are various guidelines laid down via the CLAT consortium for the candidates appearing in CLAT PG Exam. In case any student doesn't abide by the given guidelines, they shall not be allowed to appear in the exam. CLAT PG dress code guidelines to be followed by the candidates are as follows:

• The candidates are required to wear half-sleeve shirts and t-shirts. Such clothes must not have large buttons under which any kind of chits or pages could be kept by the aspirants.
• All the candidates must wear only light colour clothes so that no scope of any cheating is present there inside the exam hall.
• The candidates shall be responsible for their expensive items, hence the candidates must try to refrain from carrying any kind of expensive stuff with them, since there shall be no such facility of locker rooms or restrooms available there in the exam centres.
• All the candidates must refrain from wearing any kind of jewellery or ornaments such as chains, nose pins, badges etc inside the exam hall.
• The candidates are not allowed to wear shoes inside the exam halls, and shall only be permitted entry with slippers or sandals.
• The candidates are permitted to wear only the analogue watch and no other kind of wristbands or digital watch shall be allowed inside the exam hall.

CLAT PG 2024 Exam Centers: Guidelines for PwD Candidates

All the physically disabled candidates shall be provided proper facilities inside CLAT PG exam centres, however, such candidates are required to abide by a certain set of guidelines as given below:

• The physically disabled candidates must carry their Disability Certificates along with them.
• The transportation cost up to and from the exam centres shall be borne by the candidates themselves.
• The physically disabled candidates shall be provided with a total time of 2 hours and 40 minutes to complete their exam as compared to their counterparts who are provided with a total time of 2 hours only.
