APSCHE has initiated the web options entry process for AP ECET 2024, starting from August 2nd. Candidates who have successfully registered and completed document verification may now exercise their preferences for colleges and courses through the online portal – ecet-sche.aptonline.in/ECET. This process commenced on August 2, 2024, and aligns with the final phase of counselling, scheduled from August 1 to 3, 2024. The JNTU has commenced the AP ECET 2024 counselling registration on June 28, 2024. Only qualified candidates are eligible to participate in the AP ECET 2024 counselling process.

- Scoring 160 or above can be considered a very good score and 120 or above can be called a safe score
AP ECET 2024 exam has been conducted successfully on May 08, 2024. The examination was conducted in two shifts- the first shift from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. According to the students the exam difficulty level was easy to moderate. You need a Diploma in Engineering and Technology/ Pharmacy/ B.Sc. Degree with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to BC/SC/ST) to be eligible for AP ECET 2024 exam.
The official has also mandated AP ECET 2024 cut-off marks. The minimum qualifying percentage for general is 25% in the four subjects (three subjects for B.Sc. Mathematics) or 50 out of 200. There is no qualifying marks set for the SC and ST categories. There will be different tie-breaking policies for Engineering, Pharmacy, and BSc with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects. What is AP ECET? AP ECET or Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test is a state-level entrance exam conducted for Diploma/B.Sc-qualified candidates for lateral entry admission (in second-year degree programs) to Engineering Courses. As per AP ECET 2024 exam pattern, there will be 200 MCQs for whatever course you choose for admission. There are 3 sections in Engineering, and B.Sc. (with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects) and 4 sections in Pharmacy papers. For every correct attempt, a +1 mark is awarded.

AP ECET 2024 Results
The results of AP ECET 2024 will be announced at http://sche.ap.gov.in by JNTU Anantapur on behalf of APSCHE. The result leads to lateral admission to 2nd year B.E/B.Tech/B.Pharmacy. Candidates will able to check their results by undertaking the following simple steps:
- Visit AP ECET 2024 official website.
- Click on AP ECET 2024 Results.
- Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth
- Click on submit.
- Your result will get displayed on the screen.
- Download it and take a printout.
Based on these results counselling will be done for allotment of seats under various disciplines of UG courses.
AP ECET 2024 Qualifying Marks
Candidates will be required to score a minimum of 25% marks (of the total allotted marks) in order to obtain a rank in AP ECET 2024 exam. That is a minimum of 50 marks out of a total of 200 marks is required to be obtained by the candidates for obtaining a rank.
- There is no minimum qualifying percentage for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
- The rank obtained with the benefit of relaxation of the minimum qualifying marks at APECET by any candidate claiming to belong to SC/ST category will be canceled in case the claim is found to be invalid.
AP ECET 2024 Counselling
Based on the rank obtained by the candidate in the AP ECET 2024, a Rank List is prepared. Candidates scoring higher marks are placed higher in the merit list whereas those scoring lower marks hover at the bottom.
Candidates who feature in the merit list is called for the document verification process. After the document verification candidates are allowed to take part in the registration and choice-locking process.
Counseling registration process for AP ECET 2024 concluded on July 17, 2024. The first phase seat allotment is released on July 25.
In case of a tie among two or more candidates (in regards to merit list) following methodology will be followed.One with higher marks in Mathematics will be placed higher.
- In case of a tie still persists then Marks of Physics and Chemistry will be compared.
- In case the tie is not resolved then in who is elder will be placed higher.
- To settle the case if the tie persists even after considering the above 3 parameters candidates will be awarded equal ranking.

The exam conducting authority has issued AP ECET 2024 hall ticket at http://www.sche.ap.gov.in/ecet. Candidates can download the admit card by providing Registration Number and Date of Birth (dd/mm/yyyy). Candidates can download their AP ECET 2024 admit card by following the below-mentioned steps.
- Go to the JNTU official website.
- Click on AP ECET 2024 Hall Ticket.
- A login window will appear.
- Type your AP ECET 2024 application number and DOB to log in and download the admit card.
- The window showing admit card will appear.

AP ECET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
AP ECET 2024 eligibility criteria vary for different courses. A brief about the same are listed below:
- Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh. Also, they should satisfy the local status/non-local status requirement as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational and Technology Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
- Candidates should have obtained a Diploma in Engineering and Technology/Pharmacy from the state board of Technical Education of Andhra Pradesh state or any other Diploma from AICTE approved institutions recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto for admission into the relevant course.

- They should have passed the 3-year B.Sc Degree examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
- Students pursuing their diploma course (final semester) are also eligible to appear for AP ECET 2024.
- Candidates must have passed the Diploma in Engineering and Technology/Pharmacy/B.Sc. degree with an aggregate of at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates).

AP ECET 2024 Application Fee

- In case your account is debited and the website gets disconnected before payment receipt generation, check Payment Status using Know Your Payment Status option by providing the necessary details.
- If you get the message "Payment Details Not Found", make a fresh payment.
- The amount of the failed transaction will be refunded to their debited bank account within 5 working days
