Key Summary

  • The AIIMS MBBS Cut Off is the minimum NEET score needed to be eligible for the merit list and appear for admissions at AIIMS Delhi and other AIIMS campuses throughout India.
  • The AIIMS MBBS Cutoff 2025 for the General category varies across AIIMS: AIIMS Delhi (685–700+), Older AIIMS like Jodhpur/Bhopal (675–690), Average AIIMS such as Raipur/Patna (650–670), and Newer AIIMS like Rajkot/Gorakhpur (580–640).
  • OBC/EWS category candidates require cutoffs around 20–30 marks lower than General, while SC/ST/PwD cutoffs will typically be 80–120 marks lower.
  • As per the previous years' analysis, the 2025 cutoff is relatively more lenient by 5–10 marks because of a lower NEET top score (686 compared to 720 in 2024), although Delhi still asks for the highest scores.

What is the cut off for MBBS in AIIMS?

The admission in AIIMS MBBS is through the NEET UG cutoff, and the cutoff for MBBS in AIIMS refers to the closing rank or marks in NEET Counselling (AIQ) at which the last seat is filled in a given AIIMS college and category.

There are also qualifying cutoffs or minimum NEET marks or percentiles needed just for eligibility, which are different from actual seat allotment cutoffs.

The AIIMS cutoffs vary among the older AIIMS (Delhi, Jodhpur, etc.) vs. newer ones, and across different categories like General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PwD.

AIIMS MBBS Cutoff Rank 2025

According to the NEET 2025, the AIIMS MBBS Cutoff Rank 2025 statistics show that AIIMS Delhi is the most competitive with the cutoff of rank 47 for General and 186 for OBC, while newer AIIMS like Rajkot and Bibina have significantly higher cutoffs of up to 40,000+ for SC/ST category.

This indicates the way in which the highest ranks are required for Delhi and old AIIMS, but new campuses now provide greater opportunities to students with mid and lower ranks, particularly in reserved categories, opening avenues to quality medical education in more parts of India.

Yes, with a 650 NEET 2025 score out of a maximum of 720, the candidate has a fair chance of getting admission into many AIIMS campuses, particularly those that were set up in recent times. The top NEET score in 2025 was 686 and not 720 as in 2024, so it was an even more difficult exam and possibly lower cutoffs for colleges.

Still, entry to leading AIIMS colleges such as AIIMS Delhi is extremely competitive and generally demands better scores.

Ques. What is the minimum rank in NEET for AIIMS?
