For two or more students obtaining the similar highest scores in AIAPGET 2025 exam, there will be a tie-breaking round to determine the merit. The ties are broken based on:

- Candidates with the higher percentage in the whole course of BAMS/ BUMS/ BHMS/ BSMS
- Students older in age will be considered for merit
AIAPGET Cut off Factors
What are AIAPGET Cut off Determining Factors?
This year, the cut off is expected to be on the lower side. It is because the number of applications received from Karnataka’s Rajiv Gandhi Education Society Ayurvedic Medical College was less. Some factors that determine the AIAPGET cut off are:
- Number of intakes available at participating colleges for AYUSH PG courses
- The difficulty level of AIAPGET question paper in 2025 (overall and section wise)
- Number of candidates who qualified in respect of those who have appeared
- Last year’s cut off
Note: Some students might not attend the counselling process as they get better opportunities. In that case, seats remain vacant, and it also has an impact on the cut off factors.

Should I Focus on College or Courses while AACCC Choice Filling?
It is one of the common questions asked by the students who are searching for a good college and a course as well. One should know about their “Point of Interest” at first. Some factors aligned with choosing colleges and courses are as follows:
- Students who are more into practice must not choose anything except clinical subjects. In colleges with non-clinical courses, OPDs are less, which is an issue one can face. So, for two years, if someone gets two OPDs only, they will lose interest eventually.
- Clinical subject students get the opportunity to encounter a maximum number of patients, as it is a practical-based subject.
- Practice is not something that is provided; one must acquire it, to do it properly.
- There lies a significant difference between the colleges of the Central Institute and the State.
- For someone interested in practice from the outset, they must not worry about college ranking and choose a good subject.
- The subject should be a priority, followed by the college. College is for three years, but the subject will stay and help in the academics further.
