Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is comfortable as compared to other places. And the university provide 8000?scholarship monthly which as compared to the living expenses in Port Blair is very low and we would have to pay 11000 each semester for our course. So comparing all these it is very difficult to make the ends meet in a month.

Campus Life

The infrastructure here is below standard and a big investment should be done for bettering the infrastructure. Not only that, the extra curricular activities is below standard as well and new club activities should be introduced in the campus. The lab facilities are also low quality as well and needs big improvement

Campus Life

The fests had a halt after covid as of my knowledge and steps are being taken to conduct a fest this year. Most of the fests held are done by the students or hostel mastes with no support from the university (financial support). As mentioned earlier the books available in the library are also not updated taking into consideration our field. Many equipments in the department have not been maintained during the covid time and hence many equipments have been damaged and thus a big problem is being faced by the students. Also the unavailability of a ground in the campus is a big problem as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee is quite low compared to other places and the university provides scholarship of 1000 per month for students in Port Blair. Which is very helpful. But the scholarship was quite late and we recieved it after our completion of our course. Another headache would be the accessibility of the campus. As reaching Port Blair is a big burden financially as flight tickets does not come cheap. The university does not provide opportunities for campus placement which is a big negative taking into consideration the opportunities present in our field.
