Course Curriculum Overview

I have taken a Construction Technology course at BMS college, it compiles subjects like concrete technology, project management, advanced RCC, rehabilitation and more mechanization subjects along with the practical lab. All faculty who are handling Masters are from IITs and Phd holders with an experience of more than 25 years. I feel very lucky to get guidance from those faculty who are having in-depth knowledge in the subject as well as practical experience. All teachers expect students have more practical knowledge along with a strong theoretical base, hence the coach was like that only. class strength was 18 and 5 teachers were there to handle subjects along with the Lab instructor. separate mini projects will be given to the students to assess the student's knowledge and understating of the subjects. There are 2 internal were there and semester exams per semester. A total of 4 semesters will be there in two years. In 3 rd and 4th-semester intership and Final project will be taken care of.

Campus Life

Annually Utsav fest will be organised by the college. it is one of the biggest cultural fests and another technical fest will be organised by the clubs within the departments. The library is well established with all relevant books, journals, newspapers and magazines along with acceptability to the digital library. library times are from 9.00 am to 5 PM. All borrowed books should be renewed within 15 days of the issuance date. Max 3 books can be borrowed by students at a time. Call classrooms are well furnished with necessary seatings, lighting sand ventilation, computer systems for digital presentation is also available in clasess.

The college's infrastructure is in good condition. The classrooms are large and open. Spring Spree is our college's annual fest, and Technozion is our college's tech fest. The college also organises various types of project work, as well as monthly small tech fests on the college campus to promote our innovative ideas and demonstrate our innovative skills. The college library is large and contains all types of books from around the world. All of these books are also available in e-book format, allowing us to access the books at any time without having to visit the library. There are also sports facilities on campus, such as a cricket and football playground, a badminton court, a basketball court, and a volleyball court.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college's curriculum is extensive and meets international industrial standards. The curriculum combines management and engineering instruction. The curriculum is extremely detailed and assists us in understanding the fundamental concepts of engineering from the beginning to the advanced levels. The college's faculty is also excellent. They recognise the importance of the curriculum and teach us accordingly. The faculty's teaching methods are so simple and effective that we are engrossed in each lecture and have an easy understanding of the engineering concepts. If we are still unable to understand anything, we can easily approach the faculty and request assistance.

Ques. How are the hostel and other amenities in the IIT BHU for M.Tech students?

● Top Answer By Aarjav Jain on 02 Mar 24

Ans. M.Tech students (boys) of IIT BHU are allotted Aryabhatta Hostel I (Block A&B) and II (Block C&D). It is a three story building that contains a large common room with TV, and a large dining hall. The hostel mess serves decent quality food. The hostel rooms are quite spacious, and they are two seaters. But whenever there’s a shortage of rooms, three students are allotted for each room, instead of two. But even then, there’s ample space for each occupant. Each block has a garden. The washrooms are cleaned every afternoon, and are equipped with handwash and geysers. The two hostel canteens have all the basic items (including the basic food items), and their timings are 1:30PM-3AM and 7AM-10PM. On each floor, in each block, hot and cold purified water is available in the coolers. Each occupant is given a wooden cot, a table and a chair, and each room contains two cupboards. Decent wifi facilities are made available. The hostel celebrates every major festival with enthusiasm. Overall, the M.Tech hostel at IIT BHU is quite decent.Read more

Ques. How is the M.Tech (civil branch) at NIT Patna if the ESE and GATE preparation is the primary concern?

● Top Answer By Sagar Dikshit on 01 Sept 23

Ans. One of my friends has completed his BTech from NIT Patna. I have an idea about the academic environment and placement opportunities at NIT Patna.  MTech program has a relatively light workload giving you enough time for other things. The academic opportunities are limited for MTech students but plenty for BTech students.  Faculty comprises friendly and learned professors. However, you will have to resort to self-study at some point.  The NIT tag helps you in the initial stages of your career.  Overall, completing MTech from NIT Patna might offer excellent opportunities. The government of India also encouraged the researchers by its schemes directly from NITs. You can also opt for academia and become a teacher or start working in a PSU. The institute will provide you with enough time and opportunities for civil services or IES, Read more
