After short journey in NIT

Nothing negative about college. But the climate here is horrible. It will be very hot throughout the year. There is a water problem outside the campus and the levels of underground water are poor. College is a great place to learn.

The course curriculum is flexible. Here it is a semester kind of pattern. There will be a review of the curriculum periodically. Each semester contains two internal assessments called cycle tests. The marks allotment is totally faculties wish.

The placements are very good. For MTech students monthly stipend of 12400 will be given by mhrd India. And for Ph.D. students, the stipend will be around 30000. Core companies will come and conduct interviews.

There will be many events happening around the year. Sports fest, cultural fest, and technical fest. They are conducted with the names September, Pragyan which is for undergraduates, and pigeon for postgraduates.

The fee is expensive. It is increasing every year. For Normal students, it is difficult to manage. But some government schemes and some scholarships are there to assist them. College also providing scholarships for the needy.

A bank loan facility is available. State Bank of India is located on the campus. It will provide loans. For MTech students monthly stipend of 12400 will be given by mhrd India. And for Ph.D. students, the stipend will be around 30000.

Lab facilities are good. Advanced machinery is available. Recently seimens center of excellence is also started. There is a great chance of using sports facilities also. A number of grounds and indoor stadiums are present here and there.

There are numerous hostels on the campus. There are single, double, and triple sharing rooms in different hostels. A cot, chair, table, and cupboard are provided for every individual. Rooms are spacious with good ventilation.

There is a strong alumni network. They are very helpful. Some of them are working as faculty and staff here. Some are in great positions as well. Seniors are also very friendly and they will guide you through the right path.

Through gate score, I assessed the options available for doing MTech. Then I filled my choices in the portal called ccmt. In first-round itself, I got nit Trichy. Then in later rounds, my specialization upgraded. Then after verification of documents my admission is confirmed.

Faculty are very talented and friendly in nature. They ensure the allround development of students. They give assignments from which students can learn lot many things. They also do some external projects.
