Kerala B.Pharm Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates aspiring to enrol in the Kerala B.Pharm 2025 course should ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before applying. The key eligibility requirements are as follows.

  • Candidates must be Indian citizens.
  • Successful completion of 10+2 exams from the science stream is mandatory.
  • Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry, English, and either Mathematics or Biology as their primary subjects in 10+2.

Ques. Is it worth taking B Pharmacy at Bits Pilani and leaving a BTech in mining in NIT Raipur?

Ans. In my opinion, a B Pharmacy at BITS Pilani is better than a BTech in mining at NIT Raipur. There are many opportunities one can avail of by doing this course. Some of them have been listed below  You can do an M Pharmacy from a prestigious US University or from NIPER Mohali. You might secure an excellent job abroad.  As far as core placements are concerned, there are far more pharmaceutical companies than mining companies. Moreover, BITS offers elective courses in 2nd year and minor courses so you can opt for CS minor courses and even get placed in a CS company. Another future prospect of doing B Pharmacy is that you can join any pharmaceutical company and work hard to secure a better position. Ans. One of my friends studied B.Pharm at NIMS University Jaipur. According to him, it is overall a good institution, but the faculties are not good enough. They are said to be uncooperative and not easy to approach. They maintain a distance from students and keep them in continuous check, probably giving you a feeling of the school. Many students have mentioned that the fees of the college are really high and not appropriate for considering the facilities offered. Ans. My brother used to be a student of BITS Pilani and from what he has heard; it is not a good institute for students who want to pursue pharmacy. You should pursue pharmacy at BITS Pilani only if you have a strong background in physics, chemistry, and biology or you cannot get admission to some other institute. Even if you do have a strong background in the three subjects, the chances of getting converted to a different stream are very low. You have to obtain a CGPA of or higher than 9.8. It is simply too high and getting a 257 just will not be enough. On the other hand, BITS is a very reputed institute. It is highly praised by my friend and a lot of the students and former students as well. It is a very good institute but pharmacy is just not its forte. It would be better if you look for other institutes if you want to pursue pharmacy.Read more

Ans. Actually, no, the forte of SHUATS lies in the course it offers for agriculture and allied courses. SHUATS does offer the B.Pharm degree but if you really want to pursue this degree then it would be better if you opt for some other institute. The placement scenario for students of B.Pharm at SHUATS is not good at all. Instead, try pursuing the degree at VIT or SRM where students who have completed this course do get placements. Ans. No, you are not eligible to enrol in Amity University Gwalior's B.Pharm programme because of your 47% grade in the 12th grade. With 47%, you fall short of Amity University Gwalior's minimum eligibility requirements for a B.Pharm. This 50% cutoff is strictly enforced by the university, and their official admissions policy makes no mention of exceptions. You can look into other private colleges in India that might accept applicants with a 45% or higher.  If eligibility requirements are more flexible, you might also think about enrolling in a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) and then pursuing lateral entry into a B.Pharm programme after completing the diploma.Read more
