Q1. Is GPAT mandatory for admission to M.Pharm (Pharmacology) at KCP?
Ans. GPAT is not mandatory but is highly recommended. Admission is primarily through TANCET (conducted by Anna University for Tamil Nadu state quota seats). However, GPAT score can also be used for merit-based admission. Additionally, qualifying GPAT makes you eligible for the AICTE GPAT scholarship of Rs. 12,400 per month, which significantly offsets the course fee.
Q2. What is the actual yearly fee for M.Pharm at KCP? Some sources mention different amounts.
Ans. The total fee for the 2-year M.Pharm programme is Rs. 1.38 Lakhs. In Year 1, you pay Rs. 78,000 (tuition Rs. 60,000 + admission fee Rs. 5,000 + registration fee Rs. 5,000 + other charges Rs. 8,000). In Year 2, you pay Rs. 60,000 (tuition only). Hostel is optional and costs approximately Rs. 72,500 per year extra.

Ans. Ans. There are 15 seats for M.Pharm (Pharmacology) at KCP. Seats are divided between Government Quota (filled through DME Tamil Nadu counselling based on TANCET/GPAT merit) and Management Quota (filled directly by the college).
