Karnataka College Of Pharmacy - [KCP] was founded by the Karnataka Education Trust in 2004. It is located in Karnataka, Bangalore. It is approved by PCI and is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS).

KCP offers B.Pharm, M. Pharm., D.Pharm, Pharm.D and Pharm.D-Post Baccalaureate (PB) courses at UG, PG and Doctoral levels.

Admission to B.Pharm & B.Pharm (Lateral Entry) and Pharm.D. are done on the basis of score obtained in KCET exam.
For D.Pharm.courses, the college grants admission based on merit in the qualifying examination.

Candidates must have passed 2 years P.U.C examination of Karnataka P.U.C Board or any equivalent examination of any other approved Board or university with minimum 40% marks( 35% for SC/ST/ or Category-I candidates) in P.C.M/P.C.B /P.C.M.B/PC & Computer Sciences/P.C & Electronics

Eligibility Criteria for B.Pharm (Lateral Entry):

Candidates passing D.Pharm with minimum 50% aggregate marks form an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India will be eligible for direct admission to the 2nd year of B.Pharm course.

Selection Criteria

Admission to B.Pharm & B.Pharm(Lateral Entry) are done on the basis of KCET scores.
KCET 2023 Merit List will be announced based on the performance in PCB/PCM subjects.
Candidates whose names are in the merit list need to visit the nearest helpline center for document verification.
After successful verification of documents and issue of verification slips, candidates will be provided with a unique ID and Password.
Candidates need to login to their account and fill in their specific details for the allotment of college or course.
Every candidate is required to take a printout of these details after entering them on the official portal.
KEA will publish the details of eligible candidates on the website at the end of every day after verification.
After the verification process, every candidate should have the verification slip and the secret key. As without these he/she won’t be able to enter his/her choices for the option entry process.

Eligibility

Candidates must have passed B.Pharm from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences or any other recognized Indian University or any other degree courses in Pharmacy recognized as equivalent by RGUHS/PCI/AICTE.
Also they must have secured minimum 55% aggregate marks(aggregate of four years) in the qualifying exam.

Selection Criteria

Merit List is prepared by NTA authorities which is purely based on the scores obtained and rank secured by the candidate in GPAT 2023 entrance examination.
Merit list specifies Rank, Score, Category (SC/ ST/ OBC), Roll number and Qualified/ Not-Qualified status
Candidates successfully clearing GPAT with qualifying scores will be eligible for counselling.
Seat Allotment is done based on the announced merit list as well as marks obtained in the examination.
GPAT is a MCQ based exam conducted in English medium and the duration of the exam is 3 hours.
There are a total of 125 questions and each question carries a weightage of 4 marks. Thus,the total maximum possible score in GPAT 2023 is 500.
For an incorrect response, 1 mark is deducted.

KCP offers a 2-years full time Diploma in Pharmacy. The basic eligibility required for this course is a pass in 10+2.

Over-all good college

Admission:

I really don't know why I choose this college. I have seen online this college so I just apply in this but here when I call them they said to me that only 1 lakh fees and when I came to karnataka thay said no here fees is 1.5lakh that disappoint me

I got admission through kcet. The cet fees is less .they told me to give tution fees. They also provide management seats for indian and foreign students. The admission fees varies from indian students to foreign students.

*Well I approached the different colleges through the kcet examinations but according to my rank I got the college *No I didn't the rejected in any colleges but I got this colleges in my final round *Eligibility: 12th Exams:KCET *Cutoff: veries year to year according to category and different aspects consideration

To get admission in Karnataka College of Pharmacy students have to be appeared in exam called CET which will be conducted by Karnataka state government. Students can get their college based on their CET score. Admission process will be completed every year in July.
