Less stressful, comparing to other colleges staff are friendly and helpful. There is less stress and mental pressure compare to other colleges. Education wise it is goood. Teaching staff are good. Staff is always ready to help.
Faculty:
There is enough faculty to student ratio. Each faculty is focused on soeicifc number of students we have mentorship program also. And guides.
I liked each and every membor of my faculty esespecially department of endodontics and surgery.
I disliked perio department.
There is one final exam in each year and it is all based on mgr universitys exam paper.
All the labs need improvement.... our theory classes have ac making it comfortable . But our lab doesn't and it's tiring
There is canteen where the food is kinda pricey . They have good libraries it's peacefull and quiet and we are allowed in there anytime. So that's one plus. Some staff are friendly and understanding while some trigger students very badly.
Dislikes
The improper lab facilities.. there's no fan no ac and we have to wear headcaps, coat and work in there it's too dehydrating for me.
Faculty:
There are 3 to 4 faculties in each department. Anatomy physiology and biochem had only 2 utmost. There are 9 depta in my college. Im jot sure about outpatient intake. But there are always patients. Some faculties are understanding and friendly some are mentally tiring... i had a personal experience where one of the staff named ana put tape on my mouth for 2hrs since i was talking. Preetha ma'am and mugundhan sir of oral histology department are my favourite they are the best. They are very friendly and understood us and helped us study and get better marks. There's only one university exam per year. And if we fail 2 subjects in 1st year and 1 in second year we have to wait another 6 months to retake the exam. The exams difficulty is medium.. we can ace it if we study our previous year questions properly.
The faculties are good and the teaching experience is wonderful . Improved hostel infrastructure and decent lecture halls
Faculty:
Faculties are comparatively lower than overall students. Staff interact very well. They not only teach you the subject but also help you get ahead in terms of life. Teachers are well qualified. Most are doctors and many have finished Phd. Although it is hard to approach certain staff, once you get to know them it becomes much easier and better to interact.
The faculties are good. But the faculty should treat a postgraduate like a postgraduate. since I have completed a BDS degree I am already a doctor so it is necessary that I should be valued and regarded as a doctor rather than a school student! And also faculty politics are way eating our brains because we are the ones who are stuck in between.
The best staffs ever you'll find in any other colleges. Staffs teach more beyond the syllabus and helps us to gain knowledge. We can contact them for any further information, they ll clarify anything at anytime without any hesitation.
Faculty was very qualified and accessible and supportive. But they gave a lot of assignment work which was pretty exhaustive. The learning was good, their style of teaching was also unique. Overall the standard of teaching was very good.
Faculty kept pushing us to take responsibility and allowed us to operate patients in order to give us first hand experience. This literally helped in boosting our confidence and we became much more independent at a later stage of our course.
They provide alot of help for the students and they also help the average students to get good marks and also they help us to understand the difficult topics easily even we asked them for 100 times. They also help us in practicals.
